PERDER EL MIEDO
Queridos amigos:
Son muchas las dudas y zozobras que con frecuencia nos atenazan en estos tiempos revueltos. Son muchas las turbulencias que hacen temblar los viajes cotidianos en busca de la felicidad. Son las adversidades de la oscuridad y el dolor quienes afectan a la raíz de nuestras certezas.
Y con todas las circunstancias que nos toca vivir, el miedo aparece en la escena de cada día condicionando tantas cosas por dentro y por fuera, que no tienen botón de pausa y siguen interpelándonos en el curso diario de nuestro ser y hacer.
No tener miedo en la cuaresma de tantos hombres y mujeres, que sufren la guerra, la soledad, la enfermedad… nos ayuda a abrir las puertas a Cristo. Sí, es más que un deseo piadoso, es todo un programa que educa la mirada, caldea el corazón y pone en pie nuestras mejores ganas para sentirnos misioneros del bien y contar la historia de Dios repartiendo su gracia y su palabra.
No tener miedo, porque Cristo pasó por la cuaresma del dolor, soledad y persecución… hasta la muerte; pero nadie le robó la fidelidad al Padre, la alegría y la esperanza. Las cosas podrán seguir siendo las mismas en las intemperies por las que deambula nuestra vida y sentiremos las contradicciones como un latigazo que pone a prueba la confianza en Dios, pero nada puede documentar el miedo que destruye, pues aunque podamos experimentar el dolor en sus diversas facetas, éste no tendrá jamás la última palabra.
Perder el miedo, es poner en nuestro rostro una madura sonrisa que nace de una esperanza cierta, pues la Cuaresma sin la Pascua no tiene sentido y la Pascua sin la Cuaresma no tiene vida y sólo el corazón que confía canta sin engaño la verdadera alegría.
La confianza que no defrauda y la alegría que no tiene fecha de caducidad alguna, son como una dulce brisa, que después del dolor y el miedo, engendran paz y esperanza.
