HOMILÍA
Un domingo más nos hemos puesto a la escucha de la Palabra de Dios. Hagamos memoria. Recordemos. Siendo los mismos textos bíblicos, a cada uno el Señor nos quiere decir una cosa. Pidámosle que nos ayude a entender, a conocer su voluntad y la fuerza necesaria para llevar a cabo sus planes sobre nosotros.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de Samuel. Nos ha contado un episodio que tuvo que ver con el rey Saúl y el futuro rey David. Enfrentados el uno contra el otro, el rey David tiene la oportunidad de acabar con la vida de su contrincante pero no lo hace llevado de su respeto a quien considera Ungido del Señor. La vida nos ofrece a todos la ocasión de llevar a cabo la venganza sobre nuestros enemigos pero, el ejemplo de David, nos lleva por otros caminos más conformes con la voluntad de Dios.
La segunda lectura, del apóstol Pablo a los corintios, nos ha hablado de cómo, cada uno de nosotros, tiene una imagen terrenal que le inclina a hacer el mal y una imagen celestial que le lleva a hacer la voluntad de Dios. Adán, el primer hombre, es imagen del hombre terrenal. Cristo es el que vivifica. Fijemos nuestra mirada en este Cristo que imprime en nosotros la imagen del hombre celestial.
El relato del evangelio de Lucas nos ha transmitido las más bellas palabras que podamos escuchar: “Amad a vuestros enemigos, haced el bien, sed misericordiosos, no juzguéis ni condenéis a nadie, perdonad siempre; dad con generosidad, porque la medida que uséis la usarán con vosotros. Tratad a los demás como queréis que ellos os traten.” Hagamos vida en nosotros estas actitudes y comportamientos.
