HOMILÍA
En este primer domingo del mes de febrero, quinto del tiempo ordinario, hemos escuchado unos textos bíblicos, del antiguo y del nuevo testamento, que nos invitan a la reflexión y al compromiso. Bueno es que, el mensaje que ha llegado a nuestros oídos, cale de verdad en nuestros corazones y nos prepare para celebrar con toda la intensidad posible, la Colecta de la Campaña contra el Hambre en el Mundo que tendrá lugar el próximo domingo.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del profeta Isaías. Está viviendo una profunda experiencia espiritual. Siente la presencia de Dios en su vida. Sabe que los ángeles en el cielo están cantándole con esas palabras que nosotros repetimos en la misa antes de la Consagración: “Santo, Santo, Santo”. Se sabe indigno y pecador pero el Señor le muestra “que su culpa ha desaparecido y que está perdonado su pecado”. A partir de ahora se ofrece como enviado de Dios: “Aquí, estoy, mándame”. Que esta sea también nuestra actitud: “Mándame”
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los corintios, nos ha presentado una profesión de Fe que él ha hecho suya: Que Cristo murió, resucitó y ascendió al cielo, no sin antes mandar a sus apóstoles a anunciar la Buena Noticia. Pablo se considera también enviado a la misma tarea, aunque su pasado, como perseguidor de la Iglesia, le haga sentirse más indigno que los demás. Pidamos al Señor la gracia de ser apóstoles suyos
El evangelio de Lucas nos ha recordado la escena de la pesca milagrosa que lleva a los apóstoles a sentirse también indignos de la tarea que Jesús les va a encomendar: “Desde ahora seréis pescadores de hombres.” Buen día hoy para pedirle al Señor que envíe trabajadores a su mies. Recemos por las vocaciones a la vida sacerdotal, religiosa y laical. Ojala que muchos puedan decir: “Aquí estoy, mándame Señor.”
