HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del sexto domingo del tiempo ordinario. Un domingo en el que, además de la reflexión a la que nos conduce la Palabra de Dios, la Iglesia nos invita a reconocer, en lejanas tierras, a hermanos nuestros, que están pasando necesidad y a colaborar, con nuestra aportación económica, para que puedan salir de esa situación y vivir una existencia más acorde con su dignidad humana. Ya sabemos que nuestra Diócesis de Jaca y, todas y cada una de sus parroquias, estamos empeñados en financiar, en este año 2012, dos proyectos de desarrollo en Asia y en América.
El de Asia nos habla de Camboya en el que hay miles de personas que viven de lo que recogen de la basura, en la que encuentran alimentos y materiales que pueden luego vender. Su situación clama al cielo. Más, si pensamos que han sido desalojados de donde vivían cerca de los basureros y ubicados en las afueras, con lo que, muchos, deben recorrer más de diez kilómetros al día para llegar al basurero. Se quiere que estas personas puedan acceder a una formación y a reconvertir su actividad tal como la hacen hoy, en una actividad de reciclaje más acorde con los tiempos modernos.
El de América hace referencia a Paraguay donde, en un lugar llamado Pozo Colorado, hay un internado en el que viven casi trescientos niños y niñas, hijos de padres con escasos recursos. Los servicios sanitarios: wáteres, duchas, lavabos, dejan mucho que desear y son fuente de contagio y de enfermedades. Se quiere que todos esos servicios sanitarios tengan la calidad necesaria para que puedan mejorar la salud de todos los que allí se están formando. Como vemos, dos realidades, dos situaciones que hoy llaman a nuestra puerta, a nuestro corazón. De nosotros, los diocesanos de Jaca, depende que estas realidades cambien. Lo depositado en los sobres irá directamente a estos países, a las personas encargadas por Manos Unidas-Campaña contra el Hambre, de la ejecución de esos proyectos.
Las lecturas de este domingo nos han hablado también de necesidades, de enfermedades, de realidades que necesitaban ser cambiadas. En la época de Moisés, el miedo hacía que los enfermos de lepra tuvieran que abandonar los pueblos y ciudades pero, en la de Jesús, la curación era posible gracias a la bondad de su corazón que se conmovía ante la desgracia ajena. Jesús podía hacer milagros y los hacía y los enfermos se curaban. Nosotros, es verdad, no podemos hacer milagros pero sí podemos ayudar, compartir lo que somos y tenemos. Sí podemos aliviar la suerte de quienes sufren en Camboya y en Paraguay. Sí podemos unir nuestro donativo al de otros. Seamos generosos. Hagamos lo que quisiéramos que otros hicieran por nosotros.
