4º DOMINGO DE PASCUA
Muchas son las comparaciones que encontramos en el evangelio, muchas las parábolas y variadas las formas de presentarse Jesús a los demás: hoy leemos una de ellas: Jesús es el Buen Pastor y la Puerta del redil.
Se dirige a los fariseos, a los dirigentes de la religión judía, aquellos que debían conducir a los demás por el camino de las Escrituras; Él es el Pastor, un pastor que se desvela por el cuidado de sus ovejas, que se interesa por cada una de ellas y las conoce personalmente, hasta tal punto que las llama por su nombre. Pastor y guía de su pueblo, luz que alumbra en el camino o vida de todos los hombres. Distintos modos de mostrar que Él es quien nos muestra el verdadero rostro de Dios, la Palabra definitiva del Padre.
Él ha hablado abiertamente, a plena luz del día, Él entró por la puerta y sus ovejas lo conocieron. El mensaje de este evangelio es radical: Él es la puerta para ir al Padre y también para ir al hermano. Pero no es una puerta estática, inmóvil, sino una puerta que se abre para nosotros.
Y no sólo eso, Jesús es a la vez la puerta y el pastor que nos ayuda a entrar por ella. El Pastor que va delante, que va abriendo el camino, que muestra la forma de vivir en el mundo. Va delante de nosotros abriendo la senda del amor y la compasión, el cariño y el amor derramado.
Pero a pesar de ser tan claro, los fariseos no son capaces de entender, o no quieren entender cual es el camino, o quién es la verdadera Puerta. Duros de cerviz, como muchos de nosotros que no entendemos del todo la Escritura, que nos vamos tras la voz de “otros” que no son el Buen Pastor.
Entrar por la puerta es identificarse con Cristo, empaparse de sus sentimientos y actitudes, vivir los valores del Evangelio. No cerremos la puerta que Cristo nos abre. Seguir a Cristo, Buen Pastor, es dejarse que nos ponga en sus brazos cuando no podamos caminar o cuando nos extraviemos y Él vaya a buscarnos.
Menos condenas y más acogida, menos poder y más servicio, menos orgullo y más generosidad....., sólo así podemos ser signo en el mundo de hoy. Sólo así el evangelio en el que creemos se hará de verdad vida en nuestros pueblos y ciudades.
Cuando nos dejemos guiar por Cristo, o cuando pasemos por su puerta, veremos a Dios descubriremos la sencillez y la ternura de Dios hecha carne en Cristo y seremos, entonces, su pueblo fiel, su grey.
