A Jesús le encantan las parábolas, las comparaciones, los ejemplos… un auténtico pedagogo a la hora de enseñar. Continúa en el marco de la semana anterior, a la orilla del lago, rodeado de mucha gente que miraba y escuchaba al Maestro; Él, como en tantas ocasiones, no pierde la ocasión para hablar del Reino de los Cielos.
Como una pequeña semilla que necesita de la siembra del sembrador y de una buena tierra para crecer, así asemeja Jesús el Reino de los Cielos. Algo insignificante a los ojos de los hombres, pero grandioso para Dios, que tanto se distancia de los criterios humanos.
Nada hay de espectacular en las palabras de Jesús sobre el Reino; no hay grandes terremotos, no hay grandes signos en el cielo, no hay revoluciones… todo lo contrario; un pequeño fermento que se echa en la masa sin apenas notarse… pero que con el paso del tiempo hace de esa masa un alimento exquisito al paladar. Un pequeño grano de mostaza que se convierte en un gran árbol donde vienen los pájaros a anidar. Quizá no estamos acostumbrados a este tipo de publicidad.
Y es que si no vemos grandes signos y señales… no creemos; pedimos que se nos manifieste algo para terminar de creer, para acabar con nuestras dudas, para disipar nuestros temores… Pero el estilo del Reino es totalmente distinto.
Él ya ha sembrado en nuestros corazones y en nuestro mundo una pequeña semilla; ya está entre nosotros ese Reino en el que creemos; es la dimensión del presente de que Dios vive entre nosotros. Pero debemos ser esa tierra fecunda propicia para que crezca y llegue a plenitud; una dimensión de futuro que en ocasiones olvidamos. ¡Y es que esperamos que nos lo den todo hecho!
Se les anuncia lo secreto desde el inicio del mundo; que todo ha sido creado para la felicidad del hombre y de la mujer; que en esta vida podemos vivir como hermanos y de acuerdo al Amor que ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones; pero las dificultades y nuestros propios egoísmos hacen que esta semilla no dé su fruto. No por el poder de la semilla, sino por la infecundidad de la tierra en la que cae.
Llegará el día en el que se nos pida cuenta de si hemos dado fruto o no; de si hemos entendido el mensaje de Jesús o no; de si hemos amado o no. Hoy podemos ser uno de esos Apóstoles que de nuevo tuvieron el privilegio de escuchar, por boca de Jesús, el significado profundo de sus parábolas. No podemos hacer oídos sordos a su llamada.
