ADVIENTO – 2018
CAMINANDO HACIA EL ESPERADO
Querido amigo:
Con el Adviento recibimos una invitación a ponernos en camino. Un camino que hacemos para fijarnos en el futuro, para vivir el misterio de Cristo en la historia. Qué fuerza tienen estas palabras: “Cristo es el mismo ayer, hoy y siempre” (Cf. Hb 13,8). En cambio, la historia cambia y necesita ser evangelizada constantemente, necesita renovarse desde dentro y la única novedad es Cristo. Porque en Cristo está la realización plena y el futuro luminoso del hombre y del mundo.
Te invito a que entres de lleno a descubrir cómo el Adviento es, fundamentalmente, un camino. En el cual, encontramos a Dios que quiere entrar en tu vida y quiere dirigirse a ti, quiere entrar en tu historia y en la vida de todos los hombres.
En el camino de este tiempo de Adviento llevarás la mochila sobre tus hombros. Habrá días que te pesará, otros te apetecerá sentarte y abandonar el peso que llevas…no te desanimes. Lleva sólo una cosa en tu mochila: la alegría que es la puerta de la Navidad.
Amigo, necesitamos tener esperanza en el futuro, no teniendo miedo a los fallos ni vivir constantemente preocupados por lo que vendrá. Como cristianos debemos vivir alegres en el día de hoy, sabiendo que no podemos cambiar el pasado, ni programar el futuro según nuestros intereses; pero sí podemos encontrarnos con el “Esperado”, cuando en la mochila de las obras buenas llevamos una sonrisa para el triste, una mano que se estrecha con el que está sólo, unos pies endurecidos por las piedras del camino cuando acompañamos al necesitado y un corazón fatigado, pero que no se rinde, cuando ama generosamente a aquel que vive la enfermedad, la soledad o el abandono.
En este nuestro camino podemos tener tantos problemas, tantas dificultades, pero cuando nos encontramos con un niño, un anciano, un joven despistado, nos surge dentro una sonrisa, la simplicidad, porque nos encontramos ante la esperanza: ¡un niño!
Quizás, en este tiempo de Adviento, descubras la adhesión incondicional a un Dios que te ama entrañablemente. Sintetiza en tu corazón la espera de toda la humanidad, ofrece una respuesta confiada a Dios y acoge y canta el don recibido. Ábrete a la experiencia del encuentro de Aquel que esperas, sólo así harás de tu camino un proceso hacia el Esperado: “Dios hecho Hombre”, en la ternura de un niño que se llama Jesús.
