EN UN CUENCO
Queridos amigos:
Sin darnos cuenta, ya estamos ante una nueva cuaresma. ¡Qué digo! Continuamos en Cuaresma, pero con un nuevo epígrafe: 2021.
Sí, seguimos en la Cuaresma del dolor, de la epidemia, del paro, de la soledad, de la crisis económica y posiblemente estemos en la Cuaresma de Jesús cuando dijo: “Si es posible que pase de mí este cáliz”.
Algunos pensaréis que este es un tiempo en que miremos nuestra vida por el nivel de eficacia, por el número de cosas por hacer o por la tristeza encerrada en nuestro corazón. Lo siento, no estoy de acuerdo. Así, lo único que conseguimos es ser “personas ambulantes”, personas que van haciendo cosas y buscando soluciones parciales a todos los problemas que nos acechan y luego nos sentimos extrañamente vacíos.
En esto los cristianos deberíamos intentar ser auténticos en nuestras vidas, es decir, personas unificadas. Y esto sólo se consigue a base de la ascesis del “estar enteros” en lo que hacemos y vivimos.
Y no es que quiera ser pesimista ante los problemas de nuestros días, que son muy importantes y graves; pero no perdamos la vida diaria manifestada en lo cotidiano y en lo que no ve nadie.
Permitidme que recurra a S. Benito cuando nos inculca que el oratorio sea para lo que es, que mientras oramos nuestra mente concuerde con nuestra voz y... ¡Dios mío! cuántas palabras de la Palabra desparramadas por el suelo en las puertas cerradas de las iglesia…y cuántos hermanos solos y enfermos sin ser mirados a los ojos por las circunstancias que vivimos o por la independencia que anida en nuestras conductas. Y así, en vez de ser “portadores de Cristo” abandonamos al Hijo de Dios en la Palabra no vivida y en los hermanos que nos necesitan.
Caminar al ritmo de Dios en esta Cuaresma, nos exige la sencillez del compartir armonioso y desconcertante a la vez, saliendo de nosotros mismos para escuchar al que vive solo, acompañar al enfermo, compartir con el necesitado, siendo peregrinos del ritmo de Dios en la vida de cada día.
Dejémonos amar por Dios en los hermanos para que Dios por su medio vaya sanando tantas heridas abiertas y nuestros corazones se vayan transformando en un “cuenco” donde, cada día, se recoja la vida y el amor de todos los hijos de Dios.
