SÍ, TENGO UN SUEÑO
Sí, tengo un sueño, no un programa. Esto pensaría el buen Padre al querer que su Hijo se hiciese carne entre nosotros. Necesitamos de Alguien que nos inspire y nos haga partícipes apasionados de un sueño y no de un liderazgo que exija simplemente sumisión a un plan preestablecido y nos convierta en forzados colaboradores que solo se atienen a lo contratado. Necesitamos testigos a quienes seguir, no por obligación sino por deseo, no porque “tenemos que”, sino porque “queremos”. Ésta fue la intención de Dios al hacer posible que su Hijo se agachase para bajar y para enseñarnos a vivir sabiendo soñar.
Sí, tengo un sueño que al despertarme compruebo que no coincide con la realidad del mundo. Sueño con la sonrisa de los niños, la alegría de los jóvenes, la madurez de los adultos que abren sus brazos para amar a las personas con quienes se topan y con mayores que han dejado el sudor en el surco de la vida. Y me encuentro con “programas” para poder atender a los niños que siguen pasando hambre y están tristes, con muchos jóvenes con los brazos caídos porque no descubren el futuro, con adultos que echan la vista atrás y adelante y no saben qué dirección tomar y con todos esos mayores que desde muy niños dejaron mojada la tierra con su sudor en el duro trabajo y ahora se encuentran solos.
Sí, tengo un sueño, que el mundo trabaje y crezca en aquello que cree aunque le cueste sangre, sudor y lágrimas; y descubro el “programa” que para gran parte de nuestro mundo es realizar su trabajo sólo por dinero o por fama.
Sí, tengo un sueño, aparentemente tan sencillo y obvio como que el Hijo de Dios se ha hecho carne en un portal de Belén, para compartir con los niños, jóvenes, adultos y mayores la Vida. Sí, la vida de Dios que se encarna en la sonrisa de un niño, en el ímpetu del joven, en la sensatez del adulto y en el corazón agradecido del mayor.
Sí, tengo un sueño, que los distintos líderes del mundo rompen los programas interesados y egoístas del éxito inmediato y tienen como objetivo ayudar a los hombres a los que están llamados a servir.
Sí, tengo un sueño, que al despertarme puedo ver que la tierra es realmente la casa de todos donde podemos saludarnos y abrazarnos, porque todos tenemos la misma dignidad y somos hijos del mismo Padre.
El Papa Francisco es un experto en “soñar” con sus gestos de cercanía, con su forma de aparecer y de relacionarse. Con todo ello nos está invitando a vivir una Navidad donde soñemos que Dios nos ama tanto, que quiere quedarse con nosotros y entre nosotros, porque Dios “sueña con cada uno de nosotros” y sueña que somos felices.
Sí, soñemos todos. Soñemos en esta Navidad, veamos la sonrisa de Dios encarnada en el Niño que quiere quedarse entre nosotros solo por amor. Si conociéramos el don de Dios, todos los días serían Navidad.
