DIOS NACE EN NUESTRA CASA COMÚN
Queridos amigos:
Cada mañana Dios se asomaba al balcón del cielo para ver su obra creada con y por amor… Pero un día al hacerlo y contemplar la “casa común de todos”, vio un mundo roto, peleas de unos con otros, divisiones…, le dio mucha pena y sintió compasión.
Le entraron ganas de llorar y lloró.
– Lloró porque los corazones de sus hijos estaban apegados a las cosas materiales y olvidaban a sus hermanos más necesitados.
– Lloró por tantos niños inocentes que sufrían el egoísmo de una sociedad donde sólo los poderosos podían vivir en la abundancia, eso sí, a costa de los otros.
– Lloró al contemplar cómo, la tierra que Él creó con tanto amor,había sido desfigurada, malherida. Vio que sus aguas cristalinas se habían enturbiado; sus mares, contaminado; sus montes y flora, desforestados por la ambición y codicia sin medida.
– Lloró porque la violencia y la guerra se habían hecho dueñas de esta historia de ruptura y tinieblas.
Ante tanto dolor y división, el Padre–Dios se alzó como la luz frente a las tinieblas, y quiso sanar este mundo herido.
Por eso envió a su Hijo Jesús, para que “se hiciese carne y habitase entre nosotros” (Jn 1,14). Para recomponer este rompecabezas, se hizo pobre naciendo en Belén, se hizo débil para hacernos fuertes. Se encarnó en nuestra naturaleza humana para comprendernos y acogernos con su bondad y así enseñarnos el camino que debemos seguir en esta tierra, donde hay muchos hermanos peregrinos que caminan hambrientos, enfermos, migrantes y extranjeros.
Que sea esta Navidad, en la casa común de todos y a ejemplo de Jesús, la oportunidad para que todos tengan un cobijo sencillo pero acogedor como Belén, unas calles para jugar los niños donde la violencia quede desterrada, y una mesa donde todos los hijos de Dios nos podamos sentar con un trozo de pan para comer.
La Navidad es el encuentro de Dios con los hombres. Ese encuentro ha de hacer surgir caminos de paz para la guerra y violencia, diálogo para encontrar lo insospechado, como ocurrió aquellos días en Belén. Los pobres pastores fueron evangelizados, “alegraos, os ha nacido el Salvador”; los sabios reyes del Oriente fueron convertidos y volvieron a su casa por otro camino, el de la fe, la humildad y el servicio. También nosotros estamos llamados a dejarnos evangelizar por el Niño que nace y a hacer nuestra tierra más habitable.
Abramos las puertas de nuestro corazón y digamos al Dios–Padre asomado al balcón de nuestras vidas:“gracias”, porque nos ha dejado en nuestra casa común al Niño Jesús que quiere sonreír a todos. Sigamos sus huellas para que seamos un poco mejores. Que estos días abramos con la llave de la caridad todos los cerrojos. Sólo así será NAVIDAD.
