DIOS ESTÁ ENTRE NOSOTROS
Queridos amigos:
Los Medios de Comunicación Social nos bombardean con noticias de cómo será la Navidad este año. Esta preocupación se acrecienta cuanto más nos acercamos a los días navideños. Todas las interrogantes giran al número de personas que se pueden reunir o cómo deben ser los distintos encuentros entre personas. Pero yo me pregunto: ¿Qué pensamos sobre la decisión de Dios de quedarse entre nosotros?
Nos lo dice la Sagrada Escritura: “La Palabra de Dios se ha hecho carne”. Mirad, Dios no permanece callado, encerrado para siempre en su Misterio, no es mudo. Dios se nos comunica, quiere hablarnos, decirnos que su amor llega a todos, explicarnos que su proyecto es quedarse entre nosotros.
Su Palabra encarnada en la vida de cada uno de nosotros se comunica en el enfermo, en la sonrisa de un niño, en el anciano sólo, en definitiva, en cada portal de Belén donde se proporciona fraternidad y esperanza.
Esta Palabra de Dios “ha acampado entre nosotros”. Han desaparecido las distancias. Dios se ha hecho “carne”. Habita entre nosotros, por eso, no tenemos que salir fuera del mundo para encontrarlo, sino acercarnos a Jesús, comulgar con Él y abrazar como Él.
Ahora sabemos cómo nos mira Dios cuando sufrimos, cómo nos busca cuando nos perdemos, cómo nos entiende y perdona cuando lo negamos. En él se nos revela «la gracia y la verdad» de Dios.
No lo hemos de olvidar. Este niño que se queda entre nosotros nos ha contado cómo es Dios. Sólo Él es la fuente para acercarnos a su Misterio.
Cómo cambia todo cuando uno capta por fin que Jesús es el rostro humano de Dios. Todo se hace más simple y más claro.
En estas fiestas navideñas, tiempo de recuerdos y encuentros, la fe cristiana no proporciona la solución médica, pero sí ayuda a afrontar la pandemia, porque genera, y alimenta virtudes para superar las adversidades.
La mejor manera de celebrar la Navidad es ayudar a las personas a no sentirse solas y vulnerables. Dios está con nosotros, en nosotros y entre nosotros. Lo podemos experimentar cuando nos reunimos para celebrar nuestra fe, cuando estrechamos entre nosotros lazos de amistad y apoyo, cuando nos curamos mutuamente las heridas de la vida.
Una comunidad cristiana donde se escucha, se acoge y acompaña a las personas necesitadas, puede ser para no pocos un apoyo grande para no vivir tan solos ni tan desasistidos. Puede ser la mejor invitación para creer que Dios está entre nosotros.
