EL TRIUNFO DE LA LUZ
Queridos amigos:
En la vigilia del Sábado Santo la fe y esperanza han cambiado nuestro luto y tristeza y… ¡estamos de fiesta! De nuevo encendemos nuestra vida propia y la de nuestras comunidades cristianas con la luz de Cristo Resucitado.
Al llegar la Pascua, se adueña de nosotros el color banco que simboliza la limpieza y la claridad, el canto de alabanza al Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el aleluya que nos recuerda la victoria del Señor que nos ha hecho pasar de las tinieblas a la luz, del odio a la fraternidad, de la esclavitud a la libertad.
Que nadie ni nada oscurezca y apague la luz del Resucitado en tu corazón, en tu entorno, en tu Iglesia. Que en la vida de quienes en las plazas y calles, en el paro o en la enfermedad siguen sufriendo el calvario de la marginación y de la pobreza, aparezca la luz de la justicia y que cada uno de nosotros seamos luz encendida en el cirio del Resucitado para alumbrar las oscuridades personales y sociales que nos envuelven.
No debemos olvidar el gozo de la Pascua. No podemos ser ajenos a las heridas del mundo, a las oscuridades que a los ojos humanos lo envuelven. La obra de Dios en cada uno de nosotros y en el mundo entero es que “nos amó, estando nosotros muertos por los pecados, nos ha hecho revivir con Cristo –estáis salvados por pura gracia–; nos ha resucitado con Cristo Jesús, nos ha sentado en el cielo con él, para revelar en los tiempos venideros la inmensa riqueza de su gracia” (Ef 2,4–7). Y esto nos hace acercarnos a la realidad, a la misma realidad de todos los días, con una luz diferente.
Estamos resucitados. Agradezcamos al Señor todo lo que hemos recibido. Vivamos la alegría del Evangelio de la Resurrección. Bebamos en las fuentes de agua viva. Esto solo será posible, si abrimos las puertas de nuestra mente y corazón a la necesidad de ser salvados.
Sólo si nos sentimos pobres podemos celebrar al Resucitado.
Sólo si caminamos agradecidos, encontraremos la gracia de Dios.
Sólo si valoramos la vida podremos cantar el aleluya y decir al mundo el gozo que llevamos en el corazón porque la vida ha triunfado sobre la muerte.
Sólo esto se dará en nosotros si descubrimos que el secreto de la verdadera alegría es confiar en Dios.
Es la buena noticia de la Pascua para quienes se sienten pobres: “Cristo ha resucitado”. Sí, “ha resucitado”. Ha triunfado y sigue triunfando en tu vida y en la vida de los demás cuando le anunciamos curando corazones, cuando proclamamos la amnistía a los cautivos y la libertad a los prisioneros, cuando damos de comer al hambriento y vestimos al desnudo. Cuando cantamos el aleluya en el pentagrama de la vida haciendo silencios de contemplación y voces de compromiso en la fraternidad y alegría. Cuando hacemos real el triunfo de la luz, poniendo luz a nuestro alrededor.
