APUNTAD A VUESTROS HIJOS A CLASE DE RELIGIÓN.
Dentro de solo unos días, los padres de muchos de nuestros niños realizarán la inscripción de sus hijos para el próximo curso (2013-2014) en los respectivos colegios, y es fácil que ya entonces deban elegir si optan por la clase de Religión Católica o por otras alternativas.
La Conferencia Episcopal Española acaba de hacer público un vídeo que dura 4 minutos y que pretende animar a inscribirse en la Religión Católica por lo mucho que ofrece; está pensado sobre todo para nuestros alumnos ya un poco mayores. Ellos lo encontrarán en diferentes plataformas digitales.

Una vez másla Comisión Episcopal de Enseñanza y Catequesis estima necesario recordar a los padres católicos de los alumnos que acuden, tanto a las escuelas estatales como las de iniciativa social, el deber de la formación religiosa de sus hijos así como el derecho que les asiste ante el Estado de que sus hijos reciban formación religiosa en el ámbito escolar. Es preciso que los padres de familia con hijos en edad escolar presten atención a que sus hijos reciban la enseñanza religiosa, dentro de las normas establecidas en el Acuerdo entre la Santa Sede y el Estado Español sobre Enseñanza y Asuntos Culturales y en las disposiciones legales concordadas que las desarrollan.
Pedimos a los responsables de los centros, que garanticen el ejercicio efectivo de este derecho que asiste a los padres.La formación religiosa escolar tiene la peculiar condición de ayudar a los alumnos a alcanzar una formación cristiana en relación y diálogo con los conocimientos y la cultura que la escuela transmite. Estos conocimientos y esta cultura pueden orientarse a favor o en contra de determinadas creencias religiosas y valores morales. Los alumnos católicos tienen derecho a que tal orientación se haga en conformidad con la fe y moral católica.
