Un Himno al Verbo Encarnado.
La Primera Comunidad Cristiana no ha recibido este maravilloso mensaje de la Encarnación a base de razonamientos de los teólogos sino por experiencia, por vía de contemplación. Se ha arrodillado ante el Misterio, lo ha contemplado, lo ha gustado, lo ha agradecido y se ha entusiasmado. ¡Qué bonita manera de hacer teología! Y de ese gozo incontenible, de ese entusiasmo, ha surgido la urgente necesidad de comunicarlo a otros. “Creí, y por eso hablé” (2 Cor. 4,13). Antes de hablar de Dios hay que estar con Dios. En realidad, la mejor manera de hablar de Dios es narrar lo que Él hace en nosotros.
Por medio de Él se hizo todo.
El Verbo se dirigía a Dios, le interpelaba. Y si hay creación, si existen los colores y la luz, y la humanidad y la historia, y el amor, es porque, antes de eso Dios escucha una interpelación. Es tremendo pensar que alguien puede interpelar a Dios, solicitar, sugerir, desear. Y Dios responde a ese deseo del Verbo, desatando su generosidad, su derroche, su fantasía creadora. Así es toda la creación como un gran lenguaje de seres vivos, lenguaje orgánico, armonioso, bellísimo. La Palabra es la creadora de todo. Aquí se afirma toda la teología de las realidades humanas. Toda la creación es esplendor del Verbo.
La luz brilla en la tiniebla y la tiniebla no la recibió.
El himno tiene dos tonos: “tono mayor”: Canto a la Encarnación, al brillar de la luz. Pero también tiene “tono menor”: de queja, de lamento, por el rechazo de la luz. Condensa el drama del IV evangelio que está concebido en plan de: “oferta–rechazo” y “oferta–aceptación”. Dios se busca un Pueblo y le da unos mandamientos para que los hombres aprendan a vivir como hombres y no como bestias. Pero esas sabias normas no las practicaron. “Vino a su casa, a los suyos, y no la recibieron”. Ante este rechazo, Dios busca un último esfuerzo y va a venir en persona.
Y LA PALABRA SE HIZO CARNE Y HABITÓ ENTRE NOSOTROS.
El verso más importante de toda la Biblia. Dios se hizo “debilidad”. Apareció en un abismo de rebajamiento. Todo esto era un escándalo. ¿Cómo salir de este escándalo? “Nosotros hemos visto su gloria” A través de la debilidad de la carne esa Comunidad de Juan ha contemplado toda la Gloria de Dios.
