Domingo de Ramos en la Pasión el Señor.
Jesús había tomado una decisión de la que no podía ya volver atrás: anunciar en Jerusalén la llegada del Reino de Dios.
Lo que había proclamado por toda Galilea, llegó el momento de hacerlo resonar en la ciudad de David. No podía retrasar por más tiempo lo que era la voluntad del Padre. Pero la empresa no era fácil, porque el pueblo, las multitudes que lo habían escuchado, no estaban dispuestas a cambiar sus ilusiones.
Ellos creían que era el momento indicado para restaurar el “reino” de David, recuperar una independencia política, económica, social… Y Jesús es consciente de la falta de entendimiento.
Por eso elige para su entrada en Jerusalén una “borriquilla” en lugar de un brioso corcel, como lucían los generales romanos. Él es el Salvador que trae la paz. Por eso la gente se pregunta: “¿Quién es este”? Y esa es la pregunta que debemos responder nosotros en estos días de la Semana Santa. ¿Cómo es la salvación que trae Jesús? ¿Cómo es la salvación que espero? ¿Me escandaliza un salvador que sufre, es rechazado y acepta la muerte voluntariamente, sin que nadie le fuerce a ello?
Descubrir a Jesús en estos días es necesario para poder comulgar con Él día a día, para llenar el sentido de los acontecimientos y mirar más hondo que lo que aparece en el exterior. Nos duelen los tormentos, los latigazos y la corona de espinas, pero son las señales de un amor infinito.
