Domingo 11º Ordinario, ciclo A
1.- “Al ver a las muchedumbres se compadecía de ellas”. Jesús veía a las gentes. Y las veía por dentro, con sus problemas, sus dificultades, sus angustias, sus penas. Y no pasaba de largo, ni miraba a otro lado, sino que las metía dentro de su piel, dentro de su corazón compasivo. Por eso no podía seguir adelante sin darle un vuelco el corazón. Sólo cuando metemos a las personas en nuestro corazón, ya no podemos seguir adelante. Cambian nuestros planes, nuestros proyectos y comenzamos a mirar a las personas con la mirada Jesús. Pablo, antes de su conversión, a los cristianos los veía como “enemigos”. Después de convertirse, los miraba como sus hermanos.
2– “La mies es mucha y los obreros pocos”. ¿Eran pocos los obreros? Si contamos los fariseos, saduceos, escribas, etc, se podrían contar por millares. Y todos trabajaban para Dios, todos se empleaban en la liturgia de la Palabra y en las ceremonias que se realizaban en Jerusalén. Y todos vivían muy bien, con las pingües limosnas del Templo. Pero ésos no interesaban a Jesús. Ninguno de ellos era válido para predicar la Buena Noticia del Reino de Dios. Ahora nos quejamos de que no tenemos sacerdotes. ¿De verdad que son pocos? ¿O son pocos los que se acomodan a lo que exige Jesús? ¿Van ligeros de equipaje? ¿Les preocupa el Reino de Dios por encima del dinero, la fama, el prestigio, el poder? ¿Su mirada está clavada en los pobres, los humildes, los sencillos, los que sufren?
3.- Gratis lo habéis recibido, dad gratis. El verdadero discípulo de Jesús vive envuelto en un clima de “gratuidad”. Vive recibiendo gratis el sol, la lluvia, el aire. ¿Alguien paga algo por recibir estos elementos más necesarios? Y gratis recibe la amistad y el cariño. Y gratis ha recibido el supremo regalo de la vocación. “No me habéis elegido vosotros a mí. Yo os he elegido a vosotros”. (Jn. 15, 9, 17). Si el sacerdote vive en un clima de gratuidad, ¿A qué se debe ese afán por el dinero? Si soy objeto de la gratuidad de Dios, debo dar gratis lo que gratis he recibido. No hay por qué preocuparse. Ningún discípulo le pudo echar en cara a Jesús que pasara un solo día sin comer. Eso lo da el Señor por añadidura. En un mundo donde a todo le ponemos precio, lo normal es preguntar: Y eso ¿cuánto vale? Y a lo que no tiene precio lo despreciamos. Pero en el reino traído por Jesús, es bonito responder: eso te lo doy gratis porque gratis lo he recibido. Sólo el que vive inmerso en la gratuidad de Dios, puede hacer de toda su vida un “regalo para los demás”. Una de las perlas de los salmos es ésta: “Sea el Señor tu delicia y Él te dará todo lo que tu corazón pide” (Sal. 37,4).
