Domingo 14º Ordinario, ciclo A.
En este texto de Mateo, el Señor nos habla de una revelación, pero no de una revelación cualquiera, sino de la máxima revelación del Padre al Hijo y del Hijo a los sencillos de corazón. Podemos dividir el texto en tres partes:
- – Jesús y el Padre.
“Yo te alabo, Padre”. Si algo destacan los evangelistas es esta inefable y misteriosa comunión de Jesús con el Padre. Para Jesús su Padre lo es todo. Se siente fuertemente atraído por Él y es su obsesión, su razón de ser. Por eso le nace la alabanza, la glorificación, el deseo de agradarle en todo. Comenta bellísimamente un famoso pensador cristiano: «Había en Jesús algo íntimo, un «sancta sanctorum”, al que no tenía acceso ni su misma madre, sino únicamente su Padre. En su alma humana había un lugar, precisamente el más profundo, completamente vacío de todo lo humano, libre de cualquier apego terreno, absolutamente virgen y consagrado del todo a Dios. El Padre era su mundo, su realidad, su existencia, y con él llevaba en común la más fecunda de las vidas» (K. Adán).
- – El Padre y Jesús.
“Todo me ha sido entregado por mi Padre”. El Padre no se ha reservado nada. Si se hubiera reservado algo, Jesús ya no tendría algo que tiene el Padre y, por consiguiente, ese hijo ya no sería Dios. Cuando Jesús, después del bautismo, escucha una voz del cielo que dice: “Este es mi Hijo Amado en el que me complazco”, Jesús se retira al desierto. No puede contener tanta emoción y necesita serenarse, en el silencio del desierto, para poder vivir esta experiencia de forma creatural. Jesús es el orgullo del Padre, el único que le hace plenamente feliz. Y a Jesús lo que le hace feliz es ver al Padre contento. En Jesús se cumplen las palabras del salmo 36:”Sea el Señor tu delicia y él te dará todo lo que tu corazón pide”. Por eso el hacer siempre lo que al Padre le agrada constituye su ley de vida.
- – Jesús y los suyos.
Todo lo que Jesús ha recibido del Padre lo comunica el Señor a los sencillos y humildes de corazón. Y nos invita a descansar en Él. No es lo mismo dormir que descansar. El verdadero descanso lo da la paz del corazón. El niño descansa con su mamá; el esposo con su esposa; y el hombre con su Dios. “Nos has hecho, Señor, para Ti y nuestro corazón va de tumbo en tumbo mientras no descansa en Ti”. (S. Agustín). Dios no quiere que vivamos angustiados, desesperados, abrumados. Es verdad que nuestra vida debe ser una vida de servicio. Ahora bien, un servicio hecho de mala gana genera esclavitud y frustración. Pero un servicio hecho con amor nos da libertad y nos realiza plenamente. Este es el bello mensaje de Jesús que los cristianos debemos vivir para poder comunicarlo a los demás.
