HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado esa Palabra de Dios que nos trae el domingo quince del tiempo ordinario. Ha llegado el calor, el desplazamiento de muchas personas que acuden a sus lugares de vacaciones y, todos, los que nos quedamos aquí y los que vienen de fuera, nos unimos para celebrar juntos la misma eucaristía. La Fe en Jesús nos hace hermanos que comparten el mismo pan. Disfrutemos de esta realidad y tomemos conciencia de que, viviendo en lugares distintos, ejerciendo oficios y profesiones dispares, el corazón nos llama a buscar a aquellos que comparten nuestra misma vivencia cristiana.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del profeta Isaías que compara la Palabra de Dios con una lluvia suave y benéfica que empapa la tierra y la hace fecunda. Cada domingo, cada día de fiesta, cada vez que nos encontramos para celebrar la eucaristía, escuchamos la Palabra de ese Dios que “algo” nos quiere decir a cada uno de nosotros. Por eso, la pregunta que todos nos deberíamos hacer es esta: ¿Qué es lo que el Padre Dios me quiere decir a mí, en particular, cuando escucho los textos bíblicos que me son proclamados? Miremos nuestra vida, nuestras alegrías y tristezas, nuestros problemas y preocupaciones y digámosle al Señor: “¿Cuál es tu mensaje para mí, qué me quieres decir? Para eso, es necesario que prestemos atención a lo que escuchamos y que, a lo largo de la semana, meditemos y reflexionemos.
La segunda lectura, de la carta de San Pablo a los cristianos de Roma, compara la dura realidad que muchas veces nos toca vivir en esta tierra, con la felicidad de ese cielo que habitaremos un día. Es verdad que el dolor, el sufrimiento y tantas otras cosas nos llevan a perder la esperanza, a desanimarnos, a pensar que nada tiene sentido. Dirijamos entonces nuestra mirada hacia ese Dios que nos prepara un futuro de felicidad. Que la fuerza del Señor nos acompañe en el camino de la vida, que nos llene de confianza. Nuestros males de hoy están destinados a desaparecer ante esa nueva realidad de gozo que se nos promete.
El relato del evangelio de San Mateo no ha traído, a nuestra consideración, la parábola del sembrador. El Señor siembra su palabra y nosotros podemos elegir el tipo de tierra que queremos ser: o una llena de zarzas y espinos o dura como la piedra y la que pisamos al caminar o una tierra buena en la que, la semilla de la Palabra de Dios, dé fruto.
