HOMILÍA
Todo domingo es un encuentro con Jesús y con aquellos que comparten nuestra fe. Juntos, escuchamos la Palabra de Dios, reflexionamos y meditamos sobre ella, con la intención de llevarla a nuestra vida de cada día. ¿De qué nos serviría oír ese mensaje del Padre Dios si por un oído nos entrara y por otro nos saliera, si en nuestra vida de trabajo, o en los días de ocio, o en el encuentro con la gente, lo dejáramos a un lado? Algo tiene que cambiar en nuestra vida de cada día después de escuchar, cada domingo, lo que el Señor quiere hacernos llegar al fondo de nuestro corazón.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de la Sabiduría. Nos ha presentado una imagen entrañable de ese Dios que se preocupa de todos y de cada uno de nosotros. Nos ha dicho que es un Dios que cuida de todo y de todos, que es indulgente, que juzga con moderación; que quiere que, aquellos que buscan ser justos, deben ser también profundamente humanos, comprensivos y tolerantes; que quiere hacernos llegar la virtud de la esperanza y el premio al arrepentimiento de los pecadores. Que este retrato de Dios nos llene de confianza, de paz, de seguridad ante el futuro.
La segunda lectura, de la carta de San Pablo a los cristianos de Roma, nos ha puesto sobre el tapete la realidad de la fragilidad propia de todo ser humano pero también la seguridad de la presencia del Espíritu que nos fortalece. No siempre pedimos lo que nos conviene, lo que necesitamos pero, ese Espíritu, lo hace por nosotros. Elevemos hacia él nuestra plegaria para que nos siga ayudando; para que, como decía Jesús en la oración del Padre nuestro, se haga siempre su voluntad que será siempre lo mejor para nosotros.
El relato del Evangelio de San Mateo nos ha presentado la parábola de la buena semilla y de la cizaña. Una parábola de Jesús en la que él nos quiso enseñar que, en nuestra vida, en nuestra sociedad, crecen juntos el bien y el mal, el trigo y la cizaña, pero que debemos ser pacientes y esperar el momento en el que sea posible, sin dañar al trigo, arrancar la cizaña. Procuremos ser nosotros buena semilla, buen trigo, sin dejarnos influenciar por la cizaña que crece junto a nosotros. Que, nuestro buen ejemplo, convierta la cizaña que hay a nuestro alrededor en buena semilla, en buen trigo. Y hagámoslo con la paciencia de Dios.
