HOMILÍA
Poco a poco, la comunidad cristiana va avanzando en el camino cuaresmal. Hoy, hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del segundo domingo de cuaresma. Bueno es que la reflexión acompañe a su lectura y, que sus enseñanzas, guíen nuestros pasos, no solo en este día sino también a lo largo de toda la semana. Bueno es también que encontremos momentos para la plegaria ante el sagrario de nuestra parroquia o yendo de paseo o, simplemente, en nuestra propia casa.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro del Génesis y nos ha contado la historia del sacrificio de Isaac. No es fácil, para nuestra mentalidad actual, entender la actuación de Abraham. Quizás, influido por la mentalidad de la época, pudo pensar que una forma de demostrar el amor que le profesaba a Dios era ofrecerle lo mejor que tenía: a su propio hijo, a su único hijo. Como hemos escuchado, la historia termina con las palabras de ese Dios que valora el gesto de Abraham pero que no permite que Isaac sea sacrificado. En esta cuaresma, nosotros estamos también invitados a ofrecer a Dios lo mejor que tenemos, lo que él más valora: un corazón contrito y humillado que busca el perdón.
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los Romanos, quiere infundir esperanza en el corazón de todo ser humano asediado por dificultades, por problemas, por penalidades, por miedos y angustias. “Si Dios está con nosotros ¿Quién estará contra nosotros?” Lo importante es saber que Dios nos acompaña en el camino de la vida y que nos da fuerza para afrontar todo tipo de dificultades. Invoquémosle una y otra vez.
El relato del evangelio de Marcos nos ha recordado el episodio de la transfiguración. Un hecho que tuvo lugar muy poco tiempo antes de que Jesús sufriera Pasión y muriera en la cruz y que tenía como finalidad fortalecer la fe de sus discípulos ante esos hechos dramáticos
