HOMILÍA
Pasados ya los días de las grandes celebraciones de la Navidad, comenzamos el tiempo litúrgico llamado “ordinario.” Este tiempo nos presenta a un Jesús que camina por los pueblos y senderos de Palestina, que pronuncia parábolas, que hace milagros. Hoy lo hemos visto eligiendo a los primeros apóstoles, sembrando en ellos la semilla de una vocación que les comprometería toda la vida.
Y este domingo pone también ante nuestros ojos dos realidades importantes: Por un lado hoy es la Jornada de la Infancia Misionera en la que los niños son invitados a colaborar económica y espiritualmente con esos otros niños de los países de misión. Hoy tiene lugar la tradicional Colecta. Y, por otro, a partir de mañana, comienza la Semana de Oración por la Unión de los Cristianos. Ocho días en los que todos los que nos honramos con el nombre de cristianos: católicos, protestantes, ortodoxos y anglicanos, rezamos por la unidad que Cristo quiso para su Iglesia. Y lo hacemos, unas veces juntos y otras cada uno en nuestras comunidades. En Sabiñánigo, nos reuniremos el día 20, a las 6 de la tarde, en la Iglesia de Cristo Rey, para la plegaria.
Las lecturas de este domingo nos han hablado de llamadas, de vocaciones: A Samuel, en la primera lectura. Para la historia ha quedado su frase de aceptación que se parece mucho a la de María en Nazaret. “Habla, Señor, que tu siervo escucha”. ¡Ojala que nosotros también, cuando sintamos la llamada, podamos decir como el profeta: “Habla, Señor, que tu siervo escucha! O, como María: “Hágase en mi según tu palabra”. La iniciativa parte siempre de Dios. Nuestra es la respuesta.
Cada vez son menos los que dicen ese sí a la llamada de Dios, es verdad. Solo hay dos soluciones: la oración insistente y perseverante de todos nosotros por las vocaciones y la ofrenda de la propia vida .
