HOMILÍA
Un domingo más, la Palabra de Dios llega hasta nosotros. Y lo hace en el inicio de un nuevo curso pastoral en el que están comenzando las diversas actividades que hay en nuestra parroquia. ¡Ojala que, lo escuchado, nos anime a participar en algunas de ellas! Y esto porque no se trata de contentarnos con venir a Misa y participar en ella. La Iglesia espera de nosotros que, además, nos comprometamos en Cáritas, en la catequesis, en los grupos de oración, en las llamadas clases de teología, en el Apostolado de la Oración, en el canto del coro parroquial y en tantos otros grupos, asociaciones y movimientos que nos pueden ayudar a vivir con vigor y fuerza nuestra fe.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de los Números y nos ha contado un episodio que rodeó a la figura de Moisés. En un momento determinado, dos personas, separadas del grupo que iba a recibir el don de profecía, lo reciben también y se ponen a profetizar. Algo que provoca la airada reacción de algunos. Moisés trata de poner paz e invita a todos a alegrarse de que el espíritu del Señor se haga presente también en quienes, inicialmente, no se esperaba que lo recibieran. Un texto este que nos invita a todos a alegrarnos de que el corazón de Dios se manifieste también a través de aquellos que no son cristianos o que no forman parte de la Iglesia.
La segunda lectura, como los domingos anteriores, es del apóstol Santiago. Claro y directo en sus planteamientos, el apóstol habla de los ricos y de los pobres. Ataca a quienes acumulan bienes cuando hay tantos que viven en la pobreza. Les dice que su riqueza está corrompida, que han vivido con lujo y entregados al placer, indiferentes al drama de los que no tienen lo necesario para vivir. Esta lectura también fue escrita para nosotros. Mientras haya personas que sufran, que vivan en la miseria, que pasen hambre o que miren con angustia el futuro… el corazón de un cristiano no puede permanecer indiferente. Tiene que actuar, ir al encuentro del otro y ayudar y compartir y ser solidario.
El relato del evangelio de san Marcos conectaba, de alguna forma, con la primera lectura: personas, que no pertenecían al grupo de los apóstoles, hacían milagros invocando el nombre de Jesús y eso provocaba, en los propios apóstoles, un enfado. Jesús, como Moisés, calmará los ánimos de los suyos, recordándoles que el que hace milagros en su nombre no puede luego hablar mal de Él. El bien, la bondad y, todas las cosas buenas, las pone Dios en el interior de cualquier ser humano. Alegrémonos de ello. Demos gracias al Señor cuando veamos que, personas de otras religiones o que no tienen ninguna, se preocupan de los necesitados, hacen el bien y son, quizás sin ser conscientes de ello, presencia viva del amor de Dios.
