HOMILÍA
En este domingo, veintiséis del tiempo ordinario, cuando estamos comenzando un nuevo curso pastoral, cuando se está haciendo una convocatoria a los niños y jóvenes que van a iniciar la catequesis de preparación para la primera comunión o para la confirmación, cuando estamos a las puertas de las llamadas Clases de Teología, cuando los diversos Consejos Pastorales de cada Parroquia están dando los primeros pasos, cuando nos preguntamos qué es lo que, cada uno de nosotros, va a estar dispuesto a poner de su parte para que todo vaya mejor, hemos escuchado una Palabra de Dios que nos dará luz.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del profeta Ezequiel. Él es testigo de cómo muchos protestan contra Dios porque les parece injusto su proceder o porque no entienden sus decisiones sobre sus vidas. También nosotros, en ocasiones, hemos seguido esa misma forma de pensar. No entendemos lo que Dios nos depara a cada uno de nosotros y por qué lo hace de esta o de otra manera. Las palabras del profeta llegaron al corazón de su pueblo o ¡ojalá que lleguen también al nuestro!
Hay una responsabilidad personal en lo que decimos y hacemos, en el mal y en el bien que practicamos y no podemos atribuir a Dios lo que es una opción libre de nuestra voluntad. ¡Qué bueno sería que concordara lo que decimos y hacemos con lo que Dios quiere!
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los cristianos de Filipos, nos ha recordado algo que los cristianos no deberíamos olvidar nunca: “Manteneos unánimes y concordes con un mismo amor y sentir” y también: “Consideraos humildes. No os encerréis en vuestros intereses, sino buscad todos el interés de los demás.” Toda comunidad cristiana debería considerar estas palabras como una regla de oro para que, la convivencia entre todos, sea fructífera y pacífica.
El relato del evangelio de San Mateo nos ha puesto para nuestra reflexión una pequeña parábola que también tiene que ver con una viña, como el evangelio del domingo pasado. ¿Quién cumple, para Dios, la voluntad del Padre? ¿El que dice pero no hace o el que hace, aunque previamente haya dicho que no? Las buenas intenciones sirven, sí, pero es necesario ponerlas en práctica. Muchas personas parecen decir no a Dios pero, a la hora de la verdad, llegan a cumplir mejor que aquellos que, cargados de buenos propósitos, se quedan simplemente en eso.
