HOMILÍA
En este primer domingo del mes de octubre hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del que hace el número veintisiete del tiempo ordinario. Una fecha que está a las puertas de un nuevo curso pastoral. Bueno es saber que ya se puede pedir, en la Parroquia respectiva, la Hoja de Inscripción para la catequesis de preparación a la Primera Comunión y para esa otra catequesis que dispondrá a nuestros jóvenes para recibir el sacramento de la Confirmación.
También es importante conocer que el martes, día cinco, tendrá lugar la Conferencia inaugural de las llamadas Clases de Teología que empezarán el martes, día diez y nueve, a las ocho de la tarde, en el Club Parroquial de Cristo Rey. Es una buena ocasión para recordar o actualizar los conocimientos religiosos que aprendimos de niños. En las Parroquias podéis recoger el folleto con las materias que se van a impartir en este curso; eso sí, siempre que la pandemia nos lo permita.
El mes de octubre es el mes del Rosario. Sabemos que esta sencilla plegaria llega al corazón de Santa María, nuestra Madre, siempre dispuesta a llenarnos de paz y de consuelo. Encomendémosle las necesidades y preocupaciones, angustias y problemas que afectan a tantos seres humanos, hermanos nuestros. Recordémosle, de una forma especial, a esos compatriotas nuestros que, en Canarias, viven bajo la amenaza de un volcán que se lleva consigo casas y haciendas.
Preguntémonos que podemos hacer nosotros por nuestra parroquia, qué podemos aportar, en qué podemos colaborar, qué es lo que el Señor nos puede estar pidiendo a cada uno de nosotros. Para ello, nada mejor que prestar atención a esa Palabra de Dios que se nos proclama cada domingo. De la de hoy, recogemos esta frase: “Lo que Dios ha unido, que no lo separe el hombre.” Meditemos estas palabras.
