HOMILÍA
“Toda Escritura, toda Palabra de Dios, hemos escuchado hoy en la segunda lectura, es útil para enseñar, para reprender, para corregir, para educar en la virtud.” Y toda Escritura, toda Palabra de Dios, podríamos decir nosotros, es útil, para aprender a orar, para recordar que Dios es un Padre que nos espera todos los días para tener una “charrada” con nosotros, para que le contemos nuestros problemas, para que le pidamos tantas cosas como necesitamos, para que le demos gracias o, simplemente, para que estemos con Él sin palabras, sin prisas, sintiendo el gozo de estar juntos. Hoy, la Palabra de Dios, nos invita a redescubrir el sabor de la plegaria. Busquemos tiempo y lugar para estar a solas con el Padre Dios, para hablarle y escucharle.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro del Éxodo. Nos ha contado un episodio bélico. Lo que menos nos importa es el hecho en sí. A lo que debemos prestar una atención especial es a la moraleja, a la enseñanza que se esconde tras ese episodio. Israel vence en la contienda mientras hay alguien, Moisés, que levanta sus brazos elevando su plegaria y pierde cuando, por el lógico cansancio, los baja y deja de rezar. Este texto nos está hablando del poder de la oración. De la oración de Moisés pero también de la oración de todos y de cada uno de nosotros. Dios escucha siempre nuestra plegaria. Es cierto que, en ocasiones, nos da la impresión de que no hay nadie al otro lado, que nuestra petición se pierde en el vacío. No es así. Dios está ahí, escucha nuestro clamor como escucha todos y cada uno de los latidos de nuestro corazón. Confiemos, estamos en buenas manos. Él sabe.
En el relato del evangelio de San Lucas, hemos visto a Jesús queriendo enseñar a los suyos cómo tenían que orar siempre sin desanimarse. Y para ello les cuenta una parábola de una viuda necesitada que busca la protección y la justicia de un juez. Un juez que le va a hacer caso, sobre todo, por la insistencia de la petición. Jesús nos quiso decir que nosotros también estamos llamados a darle la lata a Dios una y otra vez, sin miedo, sin cansarnos. Decía Jesús que si ese juez fue capaz de hacer justicia para que esa mujer le dejara en paz, el Padre Dios no esperará tanto y nos hará justicia sin tardar. Recemos con una inmensa confianza. Pidamos a Dios que se haga su voluntad porque su voluntad es nuestra felicidad. Llamémosle Padre como quería Jesús y “Padre Nuestro.” Padre de todos.
Hablémosle con palabras salidas del corazón, como un amigo lo hace con su amigo. Utilicemos también esa oración que Jesús nos enseñó y no nos olvidemos de los salmos, esas plegarias que, estamos seguros, Él utilizó muchas veces y que expresan los sentimientos de petición, agradecimiento y alabanza que toda plegaria lleva consigo.
