HOMILÍA
Poco a poco, vamos avanzando en el camino cuaresmal. La Palabra de Dios que escuchamos, cada día, nos va guiando. Por eso, es bueno acudir, siempre que podamos, a la celebración de la Eucaristía. Allí seremos invitados a pedir perdón, a recordar lo fundamental de nuestra vivencia cristiana, a participar en la comunión, a rezar juntos esa oración del Padre Nuestro que nos hace hermanos, hijos del Padre Dios, capaces de hacer nuestros los gozos y las tristezas de los demás.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro del Génesis en la que, ese personaje tan importante que fue Abrahán, es invitado a hacer una alianza, un pacto de amistad con el Señor. En aquel entonces, los pactos entre dos pueblos o personas se hacían siguiendo un complicado ritual. En este tiempo cuaresmal en el que estamos, también somos invitados a hacer una alianza, un pacto de amistad con el Señor. No necesitamos hacer complicados rituales para ello. Sólo hace falta un corazón dispuesto que sepa acoger al Señor y dejarse guiar por él.
La segunda lectura, de la carta de San Pablo a los Filipenses, nos ha hablado de que hay muchos que andan como enemigos de la Cruz de Jesús pero que nosotros somos ciudadanos del cielo y que estamos llamados a vivir, ya en esta tierra, como tales ciudadanos que se esfuerzan en hacer el bien, en espera de la venida de ese Jesús que nos transformará. Pidámoselo así en este tiempo cuaresmal.
El relato del evangelio de Lucas nos ha recordado la misteriosa escena de la Transfiguración. Parece que tuvo lugar muy poco antes de la Pasión y de la muerte en la Cruz de Jesús. Él quiso fortalecer a sus apóstoles ante los graves acontecimientos que muy pronto iban a suceder. Pidamos al Señor que nos fortalezca también a nosotros cuando lleguen los momentos duros y difíciles de nuestra existencia.
