HOMILÍA
Concluidas ya las grandes celebraciones de la Navidad, del Año Nuevo, de la Epifanía y del Bautismo de Jesús, volvemos al llamado tiempo ordinario en el que le contemplaremos en su día a día. Este domingo nos trae muchos temas de reflexión. En primer lugar, hoy es la Jornada de la Infancia Misionera. Con ella, la Iglesia quiere que, los adultos de las comunidades cristianas, eduquemos a los más pequeños en esa dimensión misionera que debe ser propia de todo cristiano. Hoy hacemos una Colecta para ayudar a los niños de los países de misión.
Otro tema importante de reflexión para todos nosotros es esa Semana de Oración por la Unión de los Cristianos que, todos los años, tiene lugar del 18 al 25 de este mes de enero. Protestantes, Ortodoxos, Anglicanos y Católicos, hacemos memoria de aquellas palabras de Jesús, en la Última Cena, en las que le pedía al Padre: “Que todos fueran uno”. Los avatares de la historia nos han ido dividiendo, cuando no enfrentando, a unos contra otros. Ha llegado ya la hora de, al menos, rezar juntos, para alcanzar aquella unidad que Cristo quiso para su Iglesia. Hagámoslo tanto a nivel personal como comunitario.
El tercer gran tema, al que la Iglesia nos convocará el próximo domingo, será el de la Palabra de Dios. ¡Cuántas veces la escuchamos aquí en la Iglesia! ¡Cuántas la leemos a nivel personal! El Papa Francisco quiere que, los que nos ponemos en contacto con ella, dejemos que penetre en nuestros corazones, se haga vida en nosotros y la llevemos a nuestra actividad cotidiana, a nuestras relaciones con los demás.
Hoy, esa Palabra de Dios, nos ha hablado del amor y del matrimonio. Hemos recordado las Bodas de Caná en las que estuvo Jesús. No conocemos el nombre de aquellos novios pero sí el milagro que tuvo lugar. Recemos hoy por todos los novios, por todos los esposos
