HOMILÍA
Hace pocos días los cristianos celebrábamos la Solemnidad de Todos los Santos y la Conmemoración de los Fieles Difuntos. Y las lecturas de este domingo parecen conectar, de alguna forma, con los sentimientos que experimentábamos esos días. La primera lectura nos hablaba de esa sabiduría que es necesario adquirir para alcanzar la salvación. La segunda, tantas veces escuchada en los entierros, proclamaba que, tras la muerte, Jesús nos llevará hasta los brazos del Padre Dios. La parábola de las vírgenes prudentes y necias nos advertía de la necesidad de estar preparados, de vivir vigilantes, porque no sabemos el día y la hora en los que seremos llamados a la Casa del Padre.
Este domingo somos llamados también a vivir el “Día de la Iglesia Diocesana.” Un día para tomar conciencia de nuestra pertenencia a una comunidad diocesana, en nuestro caso la de la Jaca, a través de la inserción en la parroquia. Un día para preguntarnos cuál puede y debe ser nuestra papel en ella, qué podemos aportar, qué servicios podemos prestar, cuánto tiempo podemos dedicarle. Un día para darnos cuenta de cómo, en la oración de cada día, tenemos que reservar un espacio para rezar por todos los que la formamos: el Obispo, los sacerdotes, los religiosos, las religiosas y todos y cada uno de los hermanos laicos que, están tratando de seguir el mensaje de Jesús.
Y, junto con todas estas cosas, hoy se nos pide también nuestra colaboración económica. Es necesario ese apoyo de todos para que las cosas se sigan haciendo, para que las distintas parroquias y la misma diócesis tengan los medios necesarios para cumplir con su misión que es la de anunciar el mensaje de Jesús, ayudar a los necesitados de aquí y de más allá de nuestras fronteras y sostener el patrimonio que, en parroquias, ermitas y otros lugares de culto, tenemos. La Colecta de este día es un punto importante en el sostenimiento de nuestra Iglesia Diocesana. Vaya nuestra gratitud para los que, en estos momentos de crisis para muchos, están dispuestos a compartir lo que tienen con la comunidad diocesana.
Es cierto que, a lo largo del año, tenemos otras oportunidades para llevar a cabo esa colaboración económica. Unas, no nos cuestan nada, como es la cruz que ponemos, en el apartado correspondiente a la Iglesia Católica, en la Declaración de la Renta. Otras formas son los donativos entregados en mano o en la bandeja o cestillo de cada día, de cada domingo. Una forma importante es también el compromiso de entregar una cantidad periódica a través del Banco o Caja de Ahorros. Es como hacernos socios de nuestra Iglesia. Pensad en esta posibilidad que facilita mucho la tarea al equipo económico de las parroquias, a la hora de hacer los presupuestos de cada año. Gracias de nuevo a todos.
