HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del domingo treinta y dos del tiempo ordinario en la que es alabada la generosidad que muestran, muchas veces, los pobres y los necesitados. En este día, se celebra también el día de la Iglesia Diocesana. Esta campaña nos recuerda, cada año, que, en la parroquia, nacemos a la fe y en ella descubrimos que somos una familia dentro de otra gran familia, la de los hijos de Dios. Por eso, una vez al año, celebramos de una manera especial ese sentimiento y recordamos lo importante que es poner lo que somos al servicio de los demás. Por eso, durante todo el año, aunque lo recordamos especialmente en este día, se nos pide que nos sintamos parte de ese hogar al que pertenecemos.
Esta campaña también nos activa a colaborar para hacer una parroquia más comprometida, más cercana y entregada a lo demás. Porque, juntos, llegamos más lejos. Una participación en la que cada uno aporta según sus posibilidades y sus circunstancias: Con tu tiempo, con tus cualidades, con tu oración, con un donativo. Se trata de poner lo que somos al servicio de los otros y en la Iglesia.
Puedes rezar por tu parroquia porque tu oración es necesaria y será el alma de toda la actividad que se realice. Con ella, los frutos serán mayores y más permanentes. Dedica algo de tu tiempo a los demás en la parroquia. El tiempo que puedas: media hora, una, tres horas… Lo que se ajuste a tu situación de vida. Cada uno puede aportar un poco de lo que sabe: una sonrisa cercana, una mano que apoya un hombro desconsolado; remangarte cuando sea necesario, acompañar en silencio al que sufre. Y, finalmente, haz un donativo. Con tu aportación periódica ayudas más, porque permite elaborar presupuestos y mejorar la utilización de los recursos y planificar acciones a medio y largo plazo.
