HOMILÍA
Todos los años, este domingo treinta y tres del tiempo ordinario que estamos celebrando, nos invita a la reflexión y al compromiso en dos campos muy concretos: Por un lado, en el mensaje que hemos escuchado en las lecturas. Un mensaje de esperanza en medio de una realidad, de un final del mundo y de la historia teñido de destrucción, de guerras y de muerte. Ese mensaje de esperanza que nos hará vivir confiados en las palabras de Jesús de que ni un cabello de nuestra cabeza perecerá y que salvaremos nuestras almas con perseverancia.
Por otro lado, este domingo nos habla de que hoy es el llamado “Día de la Iglesia Diocesana.” Un día para tomar conciencia de nuestra pertenencia a una comunidad Diocesana, en nuestro caso la de Jaca. Todos nos sentimos hijos de una tierra y amamos los valles o las montañas que nos han visto nacer. Bueno es que nos sintamos también orgullosos de formar parte de una familia cristiana a la que entramos el día de nuestro bautismo y que nos está acompañando a lo largo de nuestra vida, dándonos los medios para crecer como cristianos.
Este Día de la Iglesia Diocesana es un día muy apropiado para plantearnos conocerla mejor. Hay muchos cauces que nos ayudarán a saber quiénes somos, cuántos somos, qué tareas se realizan y qué es lo que todos y cada uno de nosotros podemos hacer. El conocimiento de lo que es nuestra Diócesis de Jaca nos llevará, sin duda a quererla más y mejor cada día, tal como se quiere a la madre que nos ha dado el ser y nos ha ayudado en tantos momentos de nuestra vida.
En este día dela Iglesia Diocesana estamos llamados a rezar por ella, por todos los que la formamos: por el obispo, por los sacerdotes, por los religiosos y religiosas, por todos los cristianos. A rezar hoy, sí, pero también en otros muchos días y momentos. La oración nos mantendrá unidos a pesar de nuestras diferencias.
En este día también estamos invitados a colaborar económicamente para que esta familia cristiana, a la que sentimos como propia, pueda seguir cumpliendo con su misión. Hoy se hace una Colecta. Cada uno dé según sus posibilidades y su generosidad. Entre los que nos sentimos católicos y los que valoran la labor que la Iglesia realiza, la tenemos que mantener. Eso sí, también podemos optar por comprometernos con una cantidad periódica a través del banco o caja de ahorros o con un donativo en mano cuando así lo decidamos. Allí está también la posibilidad de la Bandeja de cada día, laborable o festivo, o el donativo con motivo de acontecimientos especiales: Bodas, funerales, bautizos…sin olvidar la X que podemos poner en la casilla dela Iglesia Católica en la Declaración de la Renta, algo que no nos cuesta nada pero que supone mucho. Confesemos juntos la fe que nos une.
