HOMILÍA
Estrechamente unido a la fiesta de San José, este tercer domingo de Cuaresma nos invita a dar un paso más en nuestro camino de conversión, con la vista puesta en la Pascua de Resurrección. San José puede ser un gran aliado para todos y cada uno de nosotros. Él, desde su discreción, desde su sencillez, desde su saber ser un hombre justo, nos puede ayudar a ir transformando, poco a poco, nuestra existencia. Él, con corazón de padre, puede hacer que muchos den un paso al frente y consagren su vida a Dios y a sus hermanos los hombres. Recemos por los seminaristas, por los sacerdotes, por los que han dado un sí al servicio, a la entrega, a la generosidad.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro del Éxodo en el que se nos cuenta cómo Dios conoce la opresión de su pueblo y le invita a Moisés a liderar un proyecto de liberación. También nosotros, en este tiempo cuaresmal, estamos llamados a liderar un proyecto de liberación frente a ese pecado, a ese mal, que nos esclaviza. Dejémonos conducir por ese Dios que nos impulsa a atravesar el desierto de nuestra propia conversión para llegar a una tierra de libertad.
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los Corintios, nos ha recordado que, aunque todos tenemos a nuestro alcance los medios de salvación, no todos los aceptan y los siguen con la misma intensidad. De nosotros depende, en gran medida, que esa conversión pueda ser una realidad. Pidamos al Señor la gracia de responder a su llamada
El relato del evangelio de Lucas nos ha insistido en el tema de la conversión a la que, cada cual, debe responder personalmente. También se nos ha hablado de la inmensa paciencia de la que hace gala el Señor con cada uno de nosotros. La paciencia de Dios es nuestra salvación. Él nos ofrece el tiempo que necesitamos. No lo desaprovechemos.
