HOMILÍA
Estamos en el tiempo de Pascua. Concretamente, en su tercer domingo. Un tiempo en el que vemos a Jesús que se va apareciendo a unos y a otros para llevarles al convencimiento de que realmente ha resucitado. ¡Ojalá que este hecho quedara grabado con fuerza en nuestros corazones! Creemos en Jesús, sí, pero en un Jesús que no quedó olvidado en un oscuro sepulcro de Palestina, sino que volvió a la vida para nunca más volver a morir, como garantía de nuestra propia resurrección.
La primera lectura, tomada del libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, nos ha recordado unas palabras del Apóstol Pedro que, como guía de la comunidad cristiana, se lanza a anunciar a todo el mundo quién fue Jesús: cómo se desarrolló su vida, llena de enseñanzas y de milagros, cómo fue clavado en la cruz y cómo resucitó al tercer día. Un hecho del que se sienten testigos. Bueno es que nosotros también le anunciemos con nuestras palabras y nuestras vidas y nos convirtamos en testigos convincentes de su mensaje y de su resurrección.
La segunda lectura, del Apóstol Pedro, también nos ha hecho hincapié en la resurrección de Jesús y del tipo de vida al que nos compromete seguir a este Jesús resucitado. Vivamos conscientes de que un día también nosotros resucitaremos.
El relato del evangelio de Lucas nos ha contado el episodio de los discípulos de Emaús. Dos amigos de Jesús volvían a su aldea después de haber presenciado su muerte y sepultura, pero sin saber que, lo que parecía imposible, había tenido lugar. Jesús se les hace el encontradizo, les explica lo que se refería a él en la Escritura y, llegando a la aldea, comparten con aquel desconocido la mesa y el pan. Ellos, que no le habían reconocido mientras conversaban por el camino, lo reconocen ahora cuando parte y reparte el pan. Así… solo lo hacía Jesús. Pero él desaparece y ellos “saben” que ha resucitado y vuelven para compartir el gozo.
