HOMILÍA
En este primer domingo del mes de Febrero, cuando estamos poniendo ya nuestra mirada en la fiesta de Lourdes el día 11, en ese día del Ayuno Voluntario y en esa Colecta de la Campaña contra el Hambre en el Mundo que estamos llamados a vivir el viernes, día 12 y el domingo, día 14, hemos escuchado la Palabra de ese Dios que nos invita a salir de nosotros mismos para estar cerca de todos aquellos que sufren, que pasan hambre, que son visitados por la enfermedad.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado de libro de Job, ese personaje del Antiguo Testamento que, teniéndolo todo: familia, riquezas, honores… lo pierde todo y, a pesar de ello, sigue confiando y amando. Pero, en algunos momentos, saca a relucir su pesimismo, su tristeza, su desconcierto. ¡Cuántas veces, también nosotros, vemos como se hace presente en nuestras vidas ese pesimismo, esa tristeza, ese desconcierto! Mucho más en este tiempo de pandemia que estamos padeciendo. Que el ejemplo de Job haga brillar la esperanza en nuestros corazones.
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los Corintios, ha hecho referencia a la necesidad que siente el apóstol de convertirse en portavoz de la Buena Noticia de Jesús, haciéndose débil con los débiles y servidor de todos para ganar a los más posibles. Sólo siendo servidores de los demás podremos conseguir que otros se adhieran a la fe, se sientan cristianos y amen a Jesús.
El relato del evangelio de Marcos nos ha contado el episodio de la curación no solo de la suegra de Pedro sino también de muchas otras personas aquejadas de las más diversas enfermedades. Hablémosle a Jesús de las nuestras y de las de aquellos que conocemos y queremos y él, que sanó a tantos, pondrá su mano sobre nuestros dolores y nos dará alivio y consuelo. Que la Virgen de Lourdes interceda por nosotros.
