HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del sexto domingo del tiempo ordinario. Un domingo que nos trae los ecos de la Campaña contra el Hambre en el Mundo. Hoy tiene lugar, en todas las Parroquias de nuestro país, una Colecta para financiar proyectos de desarrollo en muchos lugares de nuestro planeta. La Diócesis de Jaca ayudará a la realización de uno de ellos en Ecuador, en Sudamérica. Vamos a ser generosos. Si para algo ha de servir nuestro dinero es para ayudar a salir de la pobreza a tantos hermanos nuestros, estén donde estén.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del profeta Jeremías. Llama la atención de aquellos que, apartando su corazón del Señor, ponen toda su confianza en sus solas fuerzas y alaba la actitud de aquellos que ponen su seguridad en el Señor. Cuando tantas personas sufren en nuestro mundo, cuando se pasa hambre, pongamos nuestra confianza en ese Dios que sabe multiplicar nuestras pequeñas aportaciones para que lleguen a la mayor cantidad de gente posible.
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los corintios, nos ha hablado de la Resurrección. Muchos pensaban que los muertos no resucitaban y el apóstol les recuerda que nuestra fe se basa, precisamente, en la Resurrección de Jesús. Y si él ha resucitado, también nosotros resucitaremos. Haciendo nuestra esta convicción, encontraremos fuerzas para pensar en los que sufren, en los que mueren de hambre, en los necesitados.
El relato del Evangelio de Lucas nos ha traído a nuestra memoria lo que constituye el corazón de su Buena Noticia: las Bienaventuranzas. Dichosos los pobres, los que lloran, los que sufren. Y también nos ha puesto de relieve el peligro en el que podemos caer aquellos que, teniendo para compartir, optamos, sin embargo por el egoísmo. En este día de la Campaña contra el Hambre, pensemos en los más pobres.
