HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado las lecturas del cuarto domingo de Adviento, el domingo que precede a la Navidad, a la fiesta del nacimiento de Jesús. Intensifiquemos nuestra preparación, oremos con más intensidad; trasladémonos, aunque sea mentalmente, a aquella cueva de los alrededores de Belén. Imaginemos a María y a José, a los pastores, a los magos con su estrella y pensemos que también nosotros podemos ser una figura de ese Belén que se asoma al misterio que está teniendo lugar a muy pocos pasos de nosotros. Meditemos hoy en los textos bíblicos que nos han sido proclamados.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del segundo libro de Samuel y nos ha contado la historia del rey David que pretende construir una casa, un templo, al Señor. Pero David recibirá la noticia de que será el propio Dios el que le construirá a él una casa, un linaje, una descendencia. De esa descendencia vendrá Jesús. Pero no nacerá en los palacios de los reyes y de los poderosos de este mundo sino, más bien, en la humildad y sencillez de una cueva preparada para albergar a las ovejas, a la mula y al buey de aquella buena gente que serán los primeros en acudir tras su nacimiento. Dejemos que el Señor construya en nuestro corazón su portal de Belén.
La segunda lectura, de la Carta de San Pablo a los cristianos de Roma, nos muestra una alabanza a Dios que el apóstol le hace por la buena noticia de la salvación que se ha revelado, que se ha dado a conocer, en Jesucristo.
El relato del Evangelio de Lucas nos ha mostrado el anuncio del ángel a María, la propuesta que le hace para ser la madre de Jesús y la aceptación por parte de María: “Hágase en mí según tu palabra.” Ante el Belén, digamos también nosotros: “Hágase en mí según tu palabra”.
