HOMILÍA
Poco a poco vamos avanzando en este tiempo Pascual y seguimos escuchando la Palabra de Dios y guardando en nuestro corazón los ecos que nos vienen de aquella mañana radiante de Pascua de Resurrección. La alegría inunda nuestro ser y nos sabemos salvados, reconciliados, resucitados. Hagamos memoria de Jesús resucitado, recordémosle apareciéndose a unos y a otros y recibámosle en la comunión, compartamos la eucaristía dominical con el resto de la comunidad parroquial, experimentemos su perdón cada vez que reconozcamos nuestros pecados en la Confesión. El tiempo de Pascua, no lo olvidemos, es un tiempo privilegiado de encuentro con Jesús.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles y nos ha contado la historia de un conflicto que se resolvió con la ayuda de Dios y el trabajo y la buena disposición de todos. Los apóstoles iban anunciando y proclamado el evangelio y atendiendo a las necesidades de la comunidad pero no podían llegar a todo. Las quejas de aquellos, que se sentían perjudicados, hicieron que los apóstoles vieran la necesidad de incorporar a un grupo de personas que se encargarán expresamente del servicio de la Caridad y de la atención a los más necesitados. Ellos, por su parte, se dedicarían a la tarea primordial de ser anunciadores de la Buena Nueva de Jesús.
Desde aquel entonces, no ha faltado en la Iglesia quienes se dediquen a la hermosa tarea de ayudar a los necesitados, a los pobres. Hoy, dada la crisis económica que afecta a tantos, la labor de Cáritas es más necesaria que nunca y se precisan voluntarios que gestionen los recursos disponibles y ayuden, a pie de calle, a los que lo necesiten. Y se nos pide a todos que colaboremos económicamente para que esa ayuda sea una realidad. Buena ocasión esta para que nos preguntemos si no sería hoy un buen momento para hacernos socios de Cáritas o para aportar, cuando podamos, nuestra contribución solidaria.
La segunda lectura la hemos tomado de la primera carta del apóstol Pedro. Quizás lo más importante que hoy nos decía el apóstol es la idea de que, cada cristiano, es como una piedra viva de ese edificio que es la Iglesia. Ser piedra viva es ser un miembro activo y consciente de la comunidad. Es preguntarnos qué es lo que podemos hacer para que la comunidad eclesial sea lo que tiene que ser. Todos podemos aportar muchas cosas. No solo nuestro dinero. También nuestro tiempo, nuestros conocimientos, nuestra disponibilidad.
El relato del evangelio nos ha recordado las conocidas palabras de Jesús: “Yo soy el camino y la verdad y la vida”. ¿Vemos nosotros así a Jesús? ¿Él es el sendero por el que caminamos, la verdad que buscamos y la vida que nos alienta y nos anima? Reflexionemos sobre ello
