HOMILÍA
Los textos bíblicos del quinto domingo de Pascua han sido proclamados en nuestra asamblea. Bueno es que ahora, todos, hagamos un pequeño esfuerzo para comprenderlos, para que lleguen a nuestro corazón y para que los hagamos vida.
Es este un domingo que nos trae el recuerdo de las confirmaciones de un grupo de chicos y chicas de nuestras parroquias de Sabiñánigo que tuvieron lugar el pasado viernes y del anuncio de la posibilidad de que un grupo de personas de la tercera edad reciban, el próximo domingo, el sacramento de la Unción de los Enfermos. Aquellos que lo quieran recibir pueden comunicarlo en la parroquia en la que se les informará de todo. Os animamos a acercaros a este sacramento para recibir de Dios, nuestro Padre, la fuerza y la ayuda para vivir nuestra vida cristiana también en los momentos de la enfermedad, del dolor o de las limitaciones que impone el paso de los años.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles. Nos ha contado cómo los apóstoles, los primeros evangelizadores, fueron proclamando el evangelio y cómo fueron construyendo las primeras comunidades cristianas que pusieron al cuidado de presbíteros, de sacerdotes. Volver a los orígenes, recordar nuestro pasado más cercano a Jesús, nos puede ayudar a comprender hoy lo que somos: comunidades, parroquias, en las que, cada uno de nosotros, puede encontrar apoyo y ayuda para vivir la fe, para no hacer el camino solo, para rezar juntos. Sintámonos parroquia, participemos en la celebración de la eucaristía dominical, ayudémosla con nuestra aportación personal y con nuestra colaboración económica, ofrezcámosle nuestro tiempo y nuestros conocimientos, preguntémonos, muchas veces, qué es lo que podemos hacer por ella.
La segunda lectura, del libro del Apocalipsis, nos ha inundado de esperanza. El futuro está en las manos de ese Dios que enjugará las lágrimas de nuestros ojos en un mundo nuevo lleno de felicidad. Si ese ha de ser nuestro futuro ¡qué bien haríamos todos en adelantarlo, de alguna manera, haciendo desaparecer las penas y las tristezas de los que están a nuestro lado!
El relato del evangelio nos ha recordado las palabras clave del pensamiento y del corazón de Jesús: “Os doy un mandamiento nuevo, que os améis los unos a los otros como yo os he amado. El amor será vuestro signo distintivo.” Preguntémonos si es así. Si, en cada uno de nosotros, el amor es lo más importante, lo más grande, lo que da sentido a nuestra vida. El amor sin límites ni fronteras. El amor derramado en los que están a nuestro lado y en los lejanos. El amor a los amigos y a los que no lo son tanto. El amor a Dios y al prójimo.
