HOMILÍA
Hemos escuchado las lecturas propias del domingo doce del tiempo ordinario. Un domingo que celebramos con la vista puesta en Santa Orosia cuya novena se reza en Yebra de Basa, en la Catedral de Jaca y en el corazón de muchos devotos. A ella le pedimos que nos ayude a profundizar en el contenido de esa Palabra de Dios que nos ha sido proclamada. No es suficiente con oír textos bíblicos del Antiguo y del Nuevo Testamento. Es necesario preguntarnos qué es lo que Dios nos está querido decir, con ellos, a todos y a cada uno de nosotros.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro de Job. Todos conocemos su historia: de tenerlo todo, de irle bien las cosas, se encuentra un día sin nada y, a pesar de eso, él sigue confiando en el Señor. Un Señor que, desde la tormenta, le habla de su inmenso poder, invitándole a confiar en él. En la vida de Job ha habido una gran tormenta, es verdad, que ha dejado destrozada su vida, pero también allí está el Dios que le habla y que le sigue queriendo. También en nuestras vidas aparecen, de vez en cuando, tormentas que sacuden nuestras seguridades y nuestra confianza en el Señor. ¡Ojala que, como Job, sepamos seguir confiando en esos momentos oscuros!
La segunda lectura, de San Pablo a los Corintios, nos ha recordado una frase: “Cristo murió por todos”. Su amor es para mí, para mis familiares, amigos, vecinos, para cualquier ser humano. Nadie queda al margen de su predilección. Y nos quiere en los días buenos y en aquellos otros en los que, la tormenta del dolor y de la incomprensión, se abaten con furia sobre nosotros. No perdamos nunca la esperanza.
El relato del evangelio de Marcos nos ha traído a nuestra memoria que Jesús, aunque parece que duerme, no nos deja solos en medio de la tempestad y que tiene poder para calmarla y para llenarnos de su paz.
