Recuperamos con este domingo el tiempo litúrgico llamado “tiempo ordinario”. El adjetivo “ordinario” no tiene nada de despectivo, al contrario es el tiempo corriente, nuestro día a día, donde no celebramos nada especial (no es Navidad, ni Pascua..) pero es el tiempo donde transcurre la mayor parte de nuestra vida. Por eso es un tiempo igualmente preciso porque cada día de nuestra vida es un regalo de Dios. Y aquí, en este tiempo también debemos demostrar la viveza de nuestra fe.
Para este domingo “ordinario” el evangelio nos propone dos parábolas de Jesús que quieren ilustrar la naturaleza del Reino de Dios. Como cristianos estamos llamados a anunciar a nuestro mundo el Reino de Dios que nos mostró Jesús. A veces podemos desalentarnos pensando que la tarea es ardua y bien difícil en estos momentos actuales de una crisis tan aguda. Sin embargo estas parábolas quieren ser un canto a la esperanza, ambas quieren desterrar de nuestras vidas todo atisbo de pesimismo. El Reino es de Dios, no nuestro. Él es quien lo hace progresar, pero para ello (y no es detalle menor) quiere contar con nuestra colaboración.
La parábola de la simiente plantada en la tierra nos invita a la serenidad y a la confianza absoluta en Dios. El hombre sin saber muy bien cómo sucede va constatando que la semilla crece y, a su tiempo, da los frutos esperados. Este sembrador es el prototipo del creyente que confía en Dios. Sí es verdad, solo Dios es quien hacer crecer la semilla, pero el papel del hombre no es para nada irrelevante: él ha sembrado la semilla y él recoge el grano cuando llega la siega. Este hombre sabe que todo depende de Dios, pero también sabe que con su sencilla aportación colabora a la construcción del Reino de Dios.
La parábola del grano de la mostaza nos invita a ver que Dios actúa, la mayor parte de las veces, sin hacer ruido. ¿Cómo es posible que del grano de la mostaza (que es diminuto, de veras) crezca un árbol tan grande? La rapidez que a veces exigimos los hombres contrasta con el tiempo de Dios. A veces esperamos conocer grandes conversiones, las Iglesias repletas… Dios hacer crecer el árbol de la mostaza poco a poco, día a día. Por eso Jesús también nos está indicando con esta parábola la importancia de trabajar en el día a día por el Reino de Dios. En la cotidianeidad de nuestra vida, en nuestro trabajo, en nuestra familia, en nuestra parroquia,… ahí, estamos llamados a ser testigos y constructores de este Reino.
Jesús hablaba a los suyos con parábolas para que le entendieran. También nosotros entendemos este lenguaje. Dios puede llevar adelante su Reino Él solo, pero ha preferido contar con nosotros. En esta tarea ninguno nos podemos sentir poco importantes o innecesarios. Dios se sirve de nuestra debilidad para hacer cosas grandes, para llevar adelante su Reino. Pongamos nuestra vida al servicio de esta hermosa tarea.
