HOMILÍA
Metidos de lleno todavía en la cuarentena a la que nos impulsa el coronavirus, nos disponemos a vivir una Semana Santa muy especial, en la que no tendremos celebraciones comunitarias en la iglesia, ni saldremos a nuestras calles para hacer el Vía Crucis o la procesión del Viernes Santo. Los medios de comunicación social: la radio, la televisión o Internet, llevarán a nuestras casas y a nuestros corazones los grandes misterios que siempre hemos celebrado en estos días en vivo y en directo. No será igual, es verdad, pero es lo que las circunstancias nos están demandando. Somos Iglesia que, en esta ocasión, la convertimos en iglesia doméstica. Recemos, reflexionemos, sintámonos unidos a nuestros hermanos cristianos del mundo entero. La muerte y la resurrección de Jesús nos hablan de que nuestros males presentes se convertirán pronto en gozo y alegría.
En este domingo, domingo de Ramos, nos tendremos las palmas y ramas de olivo para bendecir pero, sin ellos, aclamemos desde el fondo de nuestros corazones al Jesús que entra en la ciudad de Jerusalén. Él sabe que no podemos hacer otra cosa y bendice lo que tenemos: el simple deseo de ensalzarle desde nuestro confinamiento. Leamos el relato de la entrada de Jesús en la ciudad de Jerusalén, imaginemos la escena y elevemos nuestra plegaria por los enfermos, por los que viven con angustia estos momentos.
El día 9 de abril será Jueves Santo y recordaremos la institución de la Eucaristía, la proclamación del mandamiento del amor, el lavatorio de los pies como gesto y signo de servicio, la institución del sacerdocio. Es verdad que no podremos comulgar físicamente pero hagamos lo que se llama una “comunión espiritual” que no es otra cosa que decirle al Señor: “Mira, no te puedo recibir como querría, pero deseo que, al menos espiritualmente, vengas a mi vida, a mi persona, a mi hogar”
El día 10 será Viernes Santo y tendremos ante nuestros ojos al Jesús que carga con la Cruz y camina hacia el Calvario donde será crucificado. Ese día pensemos en tantas personas afectadas por el coronavirus que están sufriendo su propia pasión. Algunos, también la muerte. Recemos por todos ellos. Hagámosles todo el bien que podamos. La Vigilia Pascual y el día de Pascua nos recordarán que tras la muerte está la vida. Que nuestro mal terminará, que volveremos a la normalidad. Amén.
