EL PODER DE LAS LLAVES
Quien tiene las llaves de una casa tiene el poder sobre ella. Entra, sale, hace y deshace. Es el caso de Sobná, mayordomo real, que se aprovecha en beneficio propio de su situación privilegiada como encargado del palacio. Dios va a intervenir restituyendo el orden, destituyendo a este mayordomo y “colgará la llave” sobre el hombro de alguien fiel: Eliacín, su siervo. La llave es signo, más que de poder, de una responsabilidad muy grande que hay que cumplir con auténtica fidelidad. El texto profético enlaza con el Evangelio, donde Jesús otorga a Pedro una gran responsabilidad: “te daré las llaves del Reino de los Cielos”.
Tener las llaves no es un privilegio sino una responsabilidad de servicio que Pedro tendrá que ir aprendiendo y que le llevará a entregar la vida como su Maestro y Señor, “Mesías Hijo de Dios vivo”. El poder reflejado en las llaves, conferido por Jesús a su Iglesia en la persona de Pedro, “piedra”, es el de abrir, “dar acceso”, al camino y al proyecto del Reino de Dios, así como “cerrarlo” a todo aquello que se aviene mal o lucha denodadamente contra este proyecto de vida nueva y plenitud que Dios nos ofrece.
TÚ ERES EL MESIÁS, EL HIJO DE DIOS VIVO
En el evangelio de este domingo Jesús lanza a los discípulos la pregunta “¿quién dice la gente que soy yo?” para llegar a la pregunta que a él le interesa formular: “y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy yo?”. La gente ya tiene una opinión formada sobre Jesús: Juan Bautista resucitado, Elías, que precede a la llegada del Mesías, o un profeta. Estas opiniones apuntan desde luego a la singularidad de la persona de Jesús, es alguien especial, pero ¿y para los discípulos?... Pedro se adelanta y responde afirmando que Jesús es el Mesías y el Hijo de Dios. Se trata de una respuesta “inspirada”. Pedro no sabe en realidad su significado como mostrará el evangelio del próximo domingo, continuación de éste. Esta respuesta de Pedro obedece a una inspiración de lo Alto, no viene “de la carne y de la sangre”.
Esta respuesta confirma a Pedro en una misión que se le encomienda y que, para llevarla adelante, necesitará saber el verdadero significado de la misma y no lo que él se imagina. Siguiendo a Jesús, día a día, irá comprendiendo el sentido de su respuesta inspirada y la responsabilidad de su misión de ser “piedra” de la Iglesia de Jesús, representada en ciernes en los apóstoles testigos de estas cosas. Entendiendo poco a poco el mesianismo de Jesús como entrega y servicio estará preparado para desempeñar su propia entrega y servicio. Llaves, atar y desatar: poder responsable que se traduce en un servicio eclesial a todos como primado en el orden de la fe, de la verdad, de la integridad evangélica y la caridad solícita, velando por el bien del rebaño del Buen Pastor.
