3º DOMINGO TIEMPO ORDINARIO
La lectura continuada del evangelio de Marcos nos acompañará en los próximos domingos; una narración que está llena de detalles desde su título programático: Comienzo del evangelio de Jesús, el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios. Lleno de detalles y muy bien diseñado: toda esta primera parte nos va a presentar a Jesús como el Cristo, el Ungido, el Mesías, es decir, el que estaban esperando los israelitas como el salvador. Y así, Marcos nos presentará la figura de Jesús como la esperanza cumplida de los profetas.
Y Jesús comienza la predicación en Galilea, precisamente el lugar donde al final del evangelio volvería, ya resucitado, para encontrarse de nuevo con sus discípulos. Y allí anuncia lo esperado: se ha cumplido el tiempo: El Reino está cerca. Seguramente daría un vuelco el corazón de todos aquellos que le escuchaban; la promesa se iba a cumplir: el Mesías venía a reinar tal y como lo había anunciado los profetas.
El Mesías iba calando en lo hondo de los que le escuchaban; y ahora tocaba llamar a sus discípulos para ser pescadores de hombres. Dirigiéndose a Simón y a Andrés les pide que lo dejen todo, que abandonen sus redes para convertirse en apóstoles, en mensajeros de la misma noticia que Él proclamaba.
No hubo excusas, ni se pararon a pensar en lo que vendría detrás; no tardaron en darle una respuesta, ni pusieron impedimento a la llamada de aquél que les pedía que se fueran con Él. Inmediatamente lo dejaron todo y le siguieron. Lo mismo sucedió con Santiago y Juan, los hijos de Zebedeo; dejando a los trabajadores, dejando a su mismo padre allí plantado, se fueron tras Él.
Aquellos hombres no sabrían lo que vendría después; solamente siguieron la llamada de Cristo; algo debía tener su mirada, o su voz, o sus gestos, para que inmediatamente soltaran lo que estaban haciendo y se fueran tras las huellas de aquél hombre. O quizá estaban sedientos de una buena noticia, su corazón estaba esperanzado y dispuesto a escuchar la voz de Jesús.
Nos falta a nosotros hoy en día un oído que sepa escuchar ese tipo de llamadas, que esté atento al paso de Jesús a nuestro lado que nos llama por nuestro nombre y nos pide que vayamos tras él; para ser pescadores de hombres, para ser padres y madres de familias, para ser jóvenes testigos veraces de Su Palabra, para ser, en definitiva, sus discípulos.
Hay que crear esperanza en el corazón de las personas que nos rodean, una esperanza en la que pueda tener cabida esa Buena Noticia: ¡El Reino está cerca, el Reino ya está entre nosotros! En ese estado sí tiene cabida la conversión, el cambio de vida.
