FIESTA DE LA SAGRADA FAMILIA
Poco conocemos de la infancia de Jesús, aparte de esos textos que se llaman evangelios apócrifos y que vienen a completar datos que no aparecen en el libro sagrado que esla Biblia. Sinembargo, Lucas nos narra este acontecimiento singular que da sentido a la misión de Jesús.
Iban a celebrar la fiesta de Pascua, como era costumbre entre los judíos; y con tanto gentío, los padres de Jesús no se dieron cuenta de que les faltaba su hijo al regreso. Tres días habían pasado buscándolo y por fin dieron con Él en el Templo, hablando delante de los maestros de la Ley y escuchándolos.
Podríamos imaginar perfectamente la preocupación de María y José al ver que en todo ese tiempo no habían logrado encontrarlo. Sin embargo, Él debía estar en las cosas de su Padre. Se sorprenden cuando lo ven en el Templo rodeado de los eruditos de la Torá; y seguro que entre incomprensión y alegría de verlo de nuevo se dirigieron a Él como pidiéndole explicaciones por lo que había sucedido.
No entendieron lo que Jesús les respondió; pero aquél niño iba creciendo en sabiduría y favor de los hombres. Se quedó en casa con ellos y los obedecía en todo. Una auténtica familia, la de Nazaret, que se nos propone como modelo y guía en los tiempos que nos ha tocado vivir.
La familia de Nazaret nos enseña, en primer lugar, el vínculo de amor que hay entre ellos; la preocupación, el cariño de unos a otros, la obediencia de Jesús a sus padres, el esfuerzo por seguir creciendo en sabiduría… hacen que la Sagrada Familia nos ilumine y nos quede un singular estímulo para nuestros hogares.
María guardaba todas estas cosas en su interior; ella bien sabía que su Hijo sería grande y se llamaría Hijo del Altísimo; su respuesta al Ángel, hágase en mí según tu palabra, fue una generosa entrega confiada a lo que estaba por venir. Cuidaría y educaría al Hijo de Dios; lo trajo al mundo y lo acompañaría hasta la cruz, aunque no entendiera del todo lo que estaba sucediendo. Y junto a ella, San José, padre lleno de preocupación y ejemplo de servicio y trabajo honrado para el Mesías.
Nuestros hogares deben estar llenos del clima de Nazaret; un ambiente donde se respire el amor, donde todos sean importantes y a cada uno se le atienda según sus necesidades (niños, adultos y mayores); nuestras familias deben educar en el respeto mutuo y en el crecimiento humano y divino. Nazaret es para todos una escuela a la que mirar para seguir el modelo en nuestras familias.
