SAN JORGE, MÁRTIR
Todos los años celebramos, por estas fechas, la fiesta de San Jorge. Hubo leyendas que rodearon su figura, pero lo que a nosotros nos importa es su testimonio cristiano que le llevó a dar su vida por Jesús. Su martirio quedó grabado en la memoria colectiva de la Iglesia y hoy muchos lugares, ciudades y países lo tienen como su patrón y su intercesor. Pidámosle por nuestra tierra aragonesa, por todos los que aquí vivimos.
ECUMENISMO SABIÑÁNIGO
– Charla en Sabiñánigo el jueves, 4 de mayo de 2023, a las 20 horas, con el título: “Espiritualidad y sentido de la vida” por John Martín Sahayananda, monje benedictino camaldulense.
Viaje: TRAS LOS PASOS DE SANTA OROSIA
El arciprestazgo de Biescas ha organizado para el próximo otoño un viaje a la tierra natal de Santa Orosia, Praga y República Checa, abierto a todos los diocesanos hasta completar el aforo.
Se visitará el castillo de Levy Hradec, lugar donde supuestamente nació Santa Orosia. Por supuesto, Tetin, lugar donde yace Santa Ludmila, madre adoptiva de la santa, también mártir como ella y una de las santas principales del país. Hay otro pueblo, Naklo, algo más alejado de Praga, donde hace poco inauguraron una plaza con una estatua a nuestra santa, Dobroslava, como es conocida allí.

Dentro de unos días, comenzaremos el mes de mayo, el mes de María. ¡Qué bueno sería que todos volviésemos nuestros ojos hacia ella, que la invocáramos, que rezáramos el Rosario en la Iglesia, en nuestra casa o yendo de paseo! Que participáramos también de la Eucaristía que nos pone en contacto con la Palabra de Dios y con su Hijo Jesús cuando le recibimos en la comunión, así como con la comunidad parroquial a la que pertenecemos.
