DOMINGO DE LA SANTÍSIMA TRINIDAD
(Jn 3,16,18.) Dialogando con uno de aquellos judíos que esperaban la liberación, con un fariseo creyente en el Dios liberador, Jesús le presenta el mensaje que había venido a anunciar de un modo radical: Dios envió a su Hijo para que el mundo se salve por Él. Uno de esos coloquios interesantes que cara a cara mostraban la sencillez del Mesías.
Pocas cosas más pueden conocerse del Dios en el que creemos, o poco más nos interesa, más allá de que su designio ha sido salvarnos y amarnos, pues para eso se hizo uno de nosotros. Es el Dios que ha tomado carne como la nuestra, que ha querido poner su morada en medio del mundo; y precisamente esa manera de amar, solamente puede ser digna de Dios.
Dios nos ama, y con esas palabras afables y resumidas, se dirige Jesús a Nicodemo; sobran ya discursos teológicos sobre la soberanía divina, o sobre su omnipotencia… Todo eso queda al margen cuando se muestra tan claramente la misión del Hijo en la historia del hombre: salvarnos a todos.
Ese Dios que se nos ha dado a conocer es el Dios que nos ha amado tanto que entregó a su Hijo por amor hacia nosotros. Es el Dios que ha querido intervenir en nuestra historia. Todo lo demás son especulaciones y discursos humanos. El Dios que Jesucristo nos ha dado a conocer en el misterio pascual es el Dios que se ha dejado atar en la cruz, para liberamos en el amor.
Llamados a una vida sin límites, en la que pocas veces nos paramos a pensar; una eternidad junto a Dios si aceptamos su mensaje, si aceptamos la Palabra, es decir, su Hijo; y para ello contamos con la Fuerza del Espíritu que el mismo Cristo nos ha dejado.
Sabemos, por Cristo, dónde comienza nuestra nueva vida, la vida del Espíritu; dejar a un lado las condenas y anunciar un mensaje liberador, un mensaje auténtico de liberación, de felicidad, que se acepta en la fe y que nos lleva hacia el verdadero Dios. Ahora nos queda vivir con la Gracia del Espíritu como testigos de esa Buena Noticia.
