¡Jesús ha resucitado, Jesús Vive! Es el grito de alegría y de gozo que hoy inunda el corazón de todos los cristianos del mundo. El Jesús de la Pasión, de la cruz, del sepulcro, ha dado paso al Cristo triunfante y glorioso, al Cristo vencedor del pecado, del mal y de la muerte. El corazón de Jesús, atravesado por la lanza del soldado para certificar su muerte, ha vuelto a latir con fuerza. Y sabemos que, lo ocurrido con Jesús, también tendrá lugar con cada uno de nosotros. Tras la muerte está la vida. Tras el pesimismo, está el entusiasmo de una vida, plenamente feliz, a la que Dios nos llama porque es nuestro Padre.
La primera lectura, tomada del libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, nos ha recordado unas palabras de un discurso de Pedro en las que hace un resumen de la vida de Jesús, especialmente de su muerte y resurrección. También nos ha dicho que los testigos de la resurrección están llamados a ser anunciadores de esa gran noticia, que no se la pueden guardar para ellos solos. Y la mejor forma de serlo es hacer realidad en nuestra existencia la frase que le dedica a Jesús: “Pasó por la vida haciendo el bien y curando a los oprimidos por el mal porque Dios estaba con él.” Pasar por la vida, intentado hacer todo el bien que podamos, es proclamar que somos creyentes en Jesús Resucitado.
El relato del Evangelio de San Juan ha recreado la escena de la Resurrección de Jesús: La aparición a las mujeres, el encargo que les hace de que se lo hagan saber a los discípulos, la visita apresurada de Pedro y Juan al sepulcro, las vendas y el sudario, la fe que brota del convencimiento de que la Resurrección, tantas veces anunciada, ha tenido realmente lugar. Más tarde, Jesús se les aparecerá en multitud de ocasiones. Hablará, comerá, compartirá con ellos el tiempo necesario para que no quepa ninguna duda de que lo imposible ha tenido lugar.
