HOMILÍA
Hace ocho días comenzábamos la Semana Santa haciendo memoria de aquella entrada solemne de Jesús en la ciudad de Jerusalén. A lo largo de estas jornadas, hemos recorrido los momentos de dolor, de sufrimiento, de muerte y de cruz que le rodearon. Ayer, por la noche, encendimos el Cirio Pascual y, en él, nuestras pequeñas velas y así nos sentimos iluminados y abiertos de nuevo a una esperanza que reaviva nuestra fe y nos fortalece en el amor.
Hoy es el día más importante, más grande, que celebramos los cristianos. Hoy recordamos la Resurrección de Jesús. Proclamamos que Cristo ha resucitado, que nuestra vivencia cristiana se apoya en alguien que está enterrado en un oscuro sepulcro de Palestina, sino en un Cristo que está vivo, presente y actuante en nuestras vidas y en nuestras personas. En un Cristo que, como nos decía San Pedro en la primera lectura, “pasó por la vida haciendo el bien y curando a los oprimidos por el mal porque Dios estaba con él”.
“Pasar por la vida haciendo el bien” es la forma más hermosa de pasar. Es verdad que, muchas veces, nos puede el egoísmo, la pereza, la venganza, el odio, el mal. Pero disponemos del sacramento del Perdón y de la Reconciliación para volver de nuevo, como nos insistía la segunda lectura, “a buscar los bienes de allá arriba donde está Cristo sentado a la derecha de Dios.” Que el Señor nos acompañe en esta tarea.
El relato del evangelio de Juan no podía dejar de hacer mención de la Resurrección de Jesús: un sepulcro abierto, unas mujeres que van en busca de ayuda, una vendas y unos lienzos por el suelo o enrollados en un sitio aparte; unos apóstoles que, tras entrar en el sepulcro, vieron y creyeron. Pues, hasta entonces no habían entendido la Escritura: “Que Él había de resucitar de entre los muertos”. Que esta fe nos acompañe.
