Venid, subamos al Monte del Señor. Sí, subamos. Tú quieres que lo hagamos con los hermanos. No sólo junto a ellos, sino con ellos. Unidos fraternalmente podremos orar en nombre de Jesús. Tú nos has hecho hijos del Padre y hermanos con un mismo amor y una misma entrega, con la seguridad de tu presencia transformadora. Por ello, todos juntos, te decimos que queremos conocer tu rostro transfigurado y luminoso.
Te buscamos presente en la vida y en la historia pequeña y grande de los hermanos, nuestros hermanos, los hombres de nuestra tierra y nuestro tiempo. Tú eres nuestra paz, tú eres nuestra luz, tú eres el motivo de nuestra esperanza. En la cumbre del Calvario, en la Cruz, nos diste, en medio del dolor, el camino para llegar al encuentro orante con el Padre. Tu lección fue el abandono.
Ante tu rostro transfigurado, anuncio de la resurrección de vida, queremos renovar nuestro abandono en las manos del Padre. Lo hacemos junto a ti, en ti: “Padre, me pongo en tus manos. Haz de mi lo que quieras. Sea lo que sea, te doy las gracias. Estoy dispuesto a todo. Todo lo acepto con tal que tu voluntad se haga en mi, en mis hermanos y en toda la Humanidad”.
