CONTEMPLANDO EL PAN…
Coge el pan entre tus manos, tócalo, contémplalo, huele su aroma, puedes comerlo si quieres, puedes imaginar su sonido crujiente cuando se parte… Cuántas veces Jesús cogió un trozo de pan entre sus manos como ahora tú lo estás haciendo.
Cuántas veces se lo acercaría para olerlo, para gustarlo, para saborearlo. Cuántas veces lo miraría contemplativamente y vería en él expresada su misión: “Yo soy el Pan de Vida que ha bajado del cielo…” Cuántas veces lo partiría y repartiría entre sus discípulos y discípulas, y entre todos aquellos que se sentaban a su mesa con hambre de Vida Nueva.
Este pan que tienes entre tus manos te dice lo mismo que le decía a Jesús: Tú también eres ese pan que ha venido a este mundo a saciar tantas hambres, tanta necesidad, tanta pobreza material y espiritual, y dar Vida Nueva.
Este pan de Jesús, que es Eucaristía, te dice que si te alimentas de él, estás también llamado/a cada día a dar la vida por los demás como la dio Jesús, a practicar la solidaridad y la Justicia dándote y entregándote… en cuerpo y alma.
