Ayúdanos a cambiar, Señor, para mirar las cosas, el mundo, la vida con tu mirada y desde tus ojos. Sana nuestras cegueras que nos impiden ver el dolor y el sufrimiento de los que caminan al lado, de los que viven en nuestro mundo, bajo el mismo sol. Sacude nuestro corazón para que aprendamos a ver con los ojos llenos de Evangelio y Esperanza del Reino.
Corre ya el velo de nuestros ojos para que, viendo, podamos conmovernos por los otros, y movernos, desde lo profundo del corazón, para acudir a echar una mano, y la vida toda, a los que están caídos y rotos en las cunetas de los caminos, a los leprosos de hoy en día, a los que esta sociedad injusta ha tirado a un costado, porque no cuentan, o no interesan, o no son rentables a las leyes del mercado.
Ayúdanos Señor a ver, y a cambiar… a verte y a optar… a utilizar esa mirada maravillosa que nos dejaste para mirar el mundo, la realidad, la vida: la mirada del Evangelio, para ver con tus ojos de Dios, para sentir con tu corazón compasivo, para actuar llevados por la fuerza y el fuego comprometido de tu Espíritu, para hacer posible, ya aquí en la tierra, el mundo nuevo que esperamos, el Reino de los cielos.
